Just got back from my reenactment group and will work on my costume tonight. Getting out in the park was the best thing to do and I made a new friend!

Of course, I wouldn't have gone if I had not been obligated to go. I have locked myself in my home the past three days and I am tired of moping. I had to give myself a big boost to get out. I was late, but am going to work on it this week.

It sure is lousey feeling down and out. But I pat myself on the back for going.

How was everyone else's weekend? Hope it was a good one!

I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend with my partner. We shared meals together, massages, even baths. We sat together and talked about anything, just allowing the conversation to flow in whatever direction felt natural. We wondered aloud "How many people in the world, right now, are sitting with their soul-mate, getting a foot rub while giving one, sharing a small snifter of Slovanian brandy, and talking about how in love and lucky they are?"

We decided probably not too many other couples doing the same thing at that exact moment in time. That made it even more special.

I hope everyone felt as loved, secure, warm, and content as I did this weekend.

Love to all,

Ren'ai

Mine was awful, I thought about drinking for the first time in over a year.

Those teenagers I was bragging about on another thread are fighting a lot, my daughter is picking fights. She doesnt respect me or my son because she's constantly heard how bad men are from her mother. And always threatening to live with her mom, wherever she may be?

My brother has been trying to get me to feel stronger and more motivated but I have a hard time taking advise from him, he's 12 years younger and i always feel I should be helping him. It's getting on my nerves cause he doesnt really understand how hard I have been on myself.

I missed my sons football banquet today because I have a cold and I'm depressed. It makes me feel guilty.

My on line relationship has gotten weird again. Shes wanting to work on it again and I',m feeling it was all my fault it went bad, AS USUAL.

I stayed in most of the weekend and did housework, shopping and was online too. Got really frustrated, buzzing in my ears and dizzy (anxiety reaction for me) when I couldnt find something online I was just looking at less than a week ago. I still can't find it.

A positive was I watched football today and it did help me get my mind off things 🙂

On my way,
I am making a Medieval red dress for Cmaelot Days next week. I am the Merry Black Widow; tee hee.

Glad you found this site; isn't it awesome? Welcome!

Ren'ai,
What a special moment to share with someone special!

foggy,
sounds like your head was stuffed up; a lot of rest (if you can handle it with the kids) and drink lots of water and good 'ole TLC from here.

I know what you mean about the kids, they sure are changeable. sounds like you got the old fashioned parental guilts of not being able to go to your son's banquet. sorry to hear about it, but there will other times and he'll survive.
I had to miss a lot of my daughter's maraching bands, etc. because of my occupation (nurse). But I did go to many of her functions and talked about those with her. Yes, that guilt sure hangs heavy on one.
Hope you get rested and feel better soon!

Hey Sew,
Well, you hung with me through part of my weekend. I spoke with Deb today, it was brief but it was less harsh then it had been. From what others were saying on my thread, it sounded promising. Balls still in her court but I am doing better.

Thanks sew,

It felt good to vent a little on here. I do plan on getting some rest and yes I do feel guilty about the banquet.

My problem is I tend to get thinking negatively and it snowballs untill everything in my life seems damaged.

Not reality of course, but its just been rough dealing with things.

So where you been Bub?
and foggy, too:

good to see both you guys. You two have a lot in common and I hope you can be a big boost to each other. I will say that you two provide an interesting slant on the male side to share with us females!

If we only could be more open and talk more inthis world, 'secially with relationships, we'd be in a better place. You both do a fine job of expressing your feelings here!

Later, I have to get off line to use my phone. Will be lookin for you later,

Sew

Sew,
I try to express myself in life as I do here yet sometimes it doesn't seem to quite work out like that. I've always been better at penmanship. However, I had to work today so I wasn't posting as I did the past several days. I still don't know what is going to happen between Deb and I. I am going to maintain a positive outlook though.
((((((SEW))))) Hugs to ya girl.

Bub,

You do write well from what I've seen from your posts.

I was wondering when you had to go back to work. How's that going with everything else you have on your mind?

For me, and my rotating schedule, I found it ws easier to be at work to cope. The hard times came when I had a day off. Then the day dragged on, unless I had errands to run. Sometimes even those I'd put off due to my mood.

So Deb called? Great!

I can easily see a quick call while being at a seminar, running to get a bite to eat, everyone chatting, etc. Many of my girlfriends don't even call for the whole weekend; just wait till they get home to speak to their husbands.

But on the other hand, if I did not call every day or nite, my husband would wonder what I was up to. Not much, for sure. Besides, we ladies would get in late, etc. AND, often we would double up in the rooms to save money. That is hard to talk in private when others are around, or when you're going out to dinner with a bunch of people.

Sorry, I am always too long winded.

Thanks for the hugs, we all need them.
Back at cha' ((((((hugs)))))

I can't believe it's over.

Oh! I (with the help of my 'Mommy Dearest') got my room clean. *LOL* I am 20 and yet still need a good kick in the ass to get anything responsible done! I love her... =)
