I think that it has something to do with

Or do you use href?

I am trting to figure this out from stuff I find on the web.

The link I want to use is:

So - here goes:

Well...that's weird!

This didn't show my entire text and somehow underlined stuff?

One more time:

Here is the link for a book on amazon.com:

The actual address when I go to it doesn't have html at the end like some other links.

I'm so confused.

I think that it involves the <> symbols.....

Any help would be so appreciated!!!!!

Well, you did something right because I just copied the link and pasted it in the address and it worked like a charm!

katz,

I don't see what you mean.

I right clicked on both the underlined "sigh" and "Thanks for any....." and my copy option was grayed out - but copy shortcut wasn't. But still didn't work...... šŸ™

Katz,

Does this have something to do with the address bar at the top....:http://www.allabout counseling.com/BBBoards etc.....? to either copy or paste?

I tried it both ways.....STILL nothing.

Thanks to you or anyone else here who can set me straight!

Copy this:

Now open another browser window. Where it says Address, do a paste.

Your amazon.com window will come up with that book on the page.

I did it this way with your second post here and it worked fine.

Yay!!!

Not exactly how I did it, but there are so many different ways to work this Microsoft stuff!

Here's another way:

Highlight what you want and hit CTRL-C (that's the Copy command). Then put your cursor where you want it and hit CTRL-V (paste).

CTRL-X is the Cut command.

There's the mini Windows lesson for the day.

I am glad you were able to do it.
