the last I saw horsefly was over on libs side in a thread about Dreams. Horsefly went bonkers. I do mean bonkers- to the point I wonder if she wound up hospitalized. what she was posting got really really weird.

That was maybe last week.

go way back in the thread.

bonkers??? hosptialized??? what????

Are you for real here or do you think its funny??? honest to god, she is under alot of stress, her son just went off to war here, geez...

She probably feels really bad bout that too, she did not strike me as someone who is like that, I think she might not even feel safe now to come back, I hope so, she prolly needs to be here as much as you or I here...

Horsefly...I for one, do not think your off your rocker here or going bonkers or in a mental hospital, I know your stressed out, I hope your ok too, I know many here do sincerely miss you too.

Horsefly,

Come back! We miss you and hope you are OK. I saw what happened on the Libs side and it was totally out of character for you. So let it go!

I am sure all of your friends here understand how much you've been dealing with and we would love to hear from you.

Holy Smoke! I just read the Dreams thread over on Libs side and cannot believe what I read. That is simply NOT Horsefly. I have no doubt that some medication was responsible because the real Horsefly is kind, sensitive and supportive. She is going through alot of intense, medical treatment and is in a great deal of pain. I suspect that the meds caused the disorientation, distress and uncharacteristic aggression which she manifested on that thread. I will be praying for her. She has been through so much and still has a rough road to walk.

Something is not right. She has always been so supportive.

PRAY AND LOADS OF IT - i will do.

Oh for crying out loud survivor.

Enough is ENOUGH! My post wasn't an attack in any way shape or form.

I'm very worried about her.

Enough said.

Horsefly if you're around, I hope you come posting again. I used to be really into dream analysis and interpretation, and would have loved a conversation with ya, but I read the thread after you left, or it seems. Libs is slow sometimes- sometimes people don't get on for a few days at a time. We went ahead and began discussing- hope ya show up.

Enough is ENOUGH!

???

My post wasn't an attack in any way shape or form.

Mmm

Enough is enough??? We do not even speak to each other here...so how can it be "enough"? that makes no sense to me..

Well in my humble opinion, it sure did sound like an attack to me anyhow...

oh well:) Whatever.

Good idea Wasabi, i am sure she is fine, we all take breaks from here, and need time away, sometimes we move on and never come back too, nothing wrong with that, we do what we must to survive and we all have our own way of dealing here, hope your doing well!

Survivor~

I'm sure you are well-meaning with most if not all posters on this site. However, I don't believe that is so with me.

So you know, I will never intentionally post an attack on somebody, especially on support side. Once again, your response after my post about Horsefly is filled with mistaken, negative assumptions. It was not meant as an attack, period. There are no "whatevers" about it.

Once again, I reiterate, I will not post an attack on somebody, so in the future please do not respond to my posts stating or implying such.

Thank you

It seemed like an attack to me, it really did..she went bonkers you said, she went really bonkers and you even went as far to say she was in a mental hospital, i call it as i see it here, sorry that offends, but i think i am entitled to call it as i see it here, just like you...

Hey all

I think what's really sad is that no matter what happened to bring on Horsefly's absence, that this happened on this thread and if she is reading, or comes back, she will read all the bonkers references. She really has been through a whole lot. Free- I'm sure you didn't mean any harm by your choice of words, and I imagine that's probably just a way of speaking for you, but IMO, that really wasn't too sensitive.

survivor~

Yeah, she did go bonkers in my opinion and I posted my concern that something is really wrong.

That's not an attack, but ya know what?

What you are saying/doing to me is EXACTLY why I don't engage in conversation with you.

You are wrong about my intentions, you are wrong about my post, and I'm done with it.

I've asked you nicely not to do that to me anymore, and you are completely disregarding what I'm asking. You're going to insist I attacked horsefly then so be it. I guess I just have to consider the source.

And I guess there is nothing else I can do or say.

Best wishes survivor, and I do mean that.

Hey free??

Would you take a suggestion? Read the post before your last one again? Not all of it, just the top.

I have read this thread several times and I don't think Free's posting was offensive, stating his/her concern that Horsefly went "bonkers" and might even be hospitalized. All of us have been very aware of Horsefly's tremendous, physical struggles, as well as her mental/emotional suffering, resulting from her disabling injuries and chronic pain. Also, her son just got sent over to Iraq. That would be enough to mess with anyone's head.

I think we are all concerned that something bad may have happened. Horsefly definitely was not "herself" on the Libs "Dream" thread. Not at all. I even suspected that someone else at her home (or a hacker of some sort) pretended to be her and posted that stuff. Granted I am an old woman, but is "bonkers" really that insulting or degrading a term? I have heard my sons use it, even when describing our cat who likes to dash around the house and appear to be bouncing off the walls. They said she acts "bonkers," but they are smiling with fondness when they say it. So, I didn't take Free's remark as being offensive, only as being a younger person's description of someone's erratic behavior on one of the threads.

OMG

Here we go again huh bevdee?

I guess that's what I get for responding to survivor in the first place.

Have a ball.

Horsefly- if you read this, I am really, really sorry if I hurt you with a "bonkers" reference. "bonkers" is a term kids at my high school use (I teach high school math) to describe someone who seems very upset and it's a term that expresses a sense of helplessness by the person using it and elicits somebody to find out what's going on and help the person. it is in no way a negative term.

Just so you know.

P.S. If Horsefly IS hospitalized because of her disabling condition and/or medication problem(s), that might explain why we haven't heard from her. She has been such a faithful poster for such a long time...and very kind-hearted and concerned about all of us. I am truly concerned that she might be in the hospital or someplace where we can't hear from her.

I've seen the same thing with horsefly several times, and she usually comes back and apologizes like crazy. Last time it was because of her meds... whether she took too many, or it wasn't the right combo, or not enough, or whatever. Once she got straight with them, she was fine. Name calling is hard to take, regardless, and we all have to watch ourselves from time to time. I hope she's doing alright, and that everyone that has been hurt by her words, are doing alright as well. We can never assume that we know the ins and outs of everyone's lives, even if we do get down to the nitty gritty here at times. All we CAN be, is fair and mindful in our responses, without assuming we know intent.

Peace all :o)

Cat doesn't seem to mind! She is the Spoiled Darling of the house and we all enjoy her wacky antics. Livens up our lives quite a bit.

bevdee~

Why did you post here bevdee? There is no post from you on this thread until I tried to assert myself with survivor. What are you doing?

bevdee, I need to make myself perfectly clear because right now I'm angry. At you and at survivor. I'm angry at what I think you are doing and I think you tried to form a rescue triangle with me as a perpetrator AGAIN. Knowingly and willingly this time.

I'm not your abuser. I'm not suvivor's abuser. I am not a perpetrator. I'm a survivor as well, trying to make my own way. I am not deserving of any persecution by anybody on this site including you and survivor. I am not deserving of any of the anger either one of you experience as a result of your abuse.

I have NO interest in being the perpetrator in a drama triangle.

None.

Survivor is not a victim anymore. She's a survivor and has the power to act like one if she so chooses.

You are not the almighty rescuer. You can't take away an ounce of the pain victims have suffered but you can sure add to it and that's what you're doing to me AND believe it or not, to people you try to rescue. You can only provide comfort during the healing process. You can change nothing that has happened.

why do I say this? Because these games have hurt me and I dont' want to be hurt anymore.

I'm sorry for all the pain you and survivor have suffered as a result of your abuse. I really am. But ya know what? Believe it or not, neither one of you own the corner on the suffering market.

Others hurt too.
