Well the apartment is great and they will have another one ready in a month or so. When I got home and told my hubby of my plans, he wanted to try something different and didn't beg me not to move out but didn't want me to. I made several suggestions, none of which he liked and I said okay do it your way.

Anyway, my sponsor said something really strange to me yesterday when I told her he was willing to do something different. She said if I stayed for awhile longer that would be growth for me, because usually when my mind is made up - I'm out of there. Then she said when all this started she didn't think I would be able to stay clean. I was confused by that, I'm going to ask her about it tomorrow.

I called the lady with the apartment and will be buying insurance. I'm going to pay a small deposit and she will hold the new one for me. I guess what I'm saying is I don't think he will be able to stay clean, I've lost hope.

Thanks all from Sakti - Blessings

Since my husband got "HIGH" on Friday night...I'm extremely upset. I had my mind made up to leave until I allowed him to talk me out of it. Living with a shell of a person is hard. He shows no emotion, doesn't talk to me, is not supportive, blah, blah, blah.

I don't want to stay, but I don't want to leave. I fear that the damage over the past six month can't be repaired.

Please someone share their experience with me.

Satki,

There are NO COINCIDENCES!!!!!!

This apartment "showed up in you life" as you put it, for a reason.

Believe me.

It IS NOW about YOU!!!!!

(may need to think twice about that counselor of yours..........)

You said that "you drove away from your home with a sense of peace."

That's it!

That's your body's way of telling you that you are doing the right thing by getting your own place.

Who can argue with a sense of long-deserved peace?????

(I wish I knew you personally - else I would give you a wonderful new housewarming gift!) Nice candles, big, thristy bath sheets, turkish bathrobe, white goose-down pillows and comforters and a bottle of great Caberbet Savignon with wonderful peices of cheese and fruit.

Time FOR......YOU!!!!!!!!!!

🙂

I've been thinking, my husband told me this is what he is willing to do. Go to a meeting everyday, after work if it is not close to meeting time he will stay with his parents or his aunt until they can take him, then everyday after work I can pick him up from the meeting. If he had not spent $4,000 and stayed clean he would have his driver's liscense by now and could take hisself to a meeting.

I ask him to consider going to a half-way house for 6 months and the answer was H*LL NO, this just lessens his chance to get clean. For me I had to be willing to do anything and I was.

In the first paragraph he wants someone else to be responsible for his actions.

The older I get the less time I have to be at peace. I've decided I'm the lover of leav'in. I'm going as soon as I can. When he gets clean he can contact me.

You need to show me...
