Jordan ,hi how ya goin?you are right,it is your choice.Life is an endless learning process mate, and there is a hell of a lot to learn in this world.Seeing a counsellor is a good idea if you are confused/lost/unsure of your future, well in short it is a good idea.Your Foster mum cares about you and the way you live your life.A counsellor can help you sort yourself out ,or they can be just someone to talk too, your conversation with them is confidential(ask your counsellor about limits of confidentiality),a counsellor is not there to judge you or tell you what you should do ,they are there to listen to you and to help you deal with any issues or conflicts you have, they will help you to generate ideas and help you make some achievable goals in your life. You have nothing to lose by seeing a counsellor, make sure you look around and find a counsellor that you feel comfortable with.See ya

don't be afraid. Give it a try, go just once, and then if you don't like it, you have a reason. Counseling is a great place to explore you, thoughts, feelings, confusion. Maybe your foster parents see something that you do not, just like if your foster mom thought you had say chicken pox, which you might not recognize, she would take you to the md right? Since she is caring for you let her care just a little bit more, you have nothing to loose, and everything to gain, including a reason not to go, if it really is to uncomfortable for you.
