Harrasment in the workplace??

I am one of two females who works for my company. There is a 24 year old single male who seems obsessed with pregnant women. He uses the company internet to explore maternity related web sites. I recently miscarried my first pregnancy and his comments and actions are uncomfortable, to say the least. Both I, and the other female are uncomfortable around this person and this has been brought to the attention of our boss. Our boss asked that he not use the web for such material, now he just deletes the history, in hopes that no one will "catch" him. He makes uncomfortable remarks and conversations with us, like,last summer he went to a family reunion and was attracted to his 15 year old cousin, but because she was 15 he let it go, and has made comments that his 13 year old cousin has a "nice rack" referring to her breasts. We continue to let our boss know how odd we find his behavior, but our boss seems to think his actions are harmless. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

Go to your boss again..and document it with a note to the boss. Mention in the note that ihis is the second time you have approached him (your boss) about this problem.

I am sure like many of us women you are "used to" dealing with this type of crrep. Problem is ...what if he actually acts on his thing with younger girls!!!! And he should NOT be harrassing you two either.

Exactly.
Keep a journal and note down everything he says or does that is inappropriate. You need to explain to your boss that this is NOT harmless, the comments he makes to you regarding pregancy alone is upsetting due to your recent miscarriage.
Tell your boss to think about how he would feel if this man was making the comments about HIS wife, daughter or sister. explain that every victim of abuse is SOMEONEs daughter or sister and that you beleive these could be the waring signs of someone who is a potential abuser. Urge you boss to make this man seek coucelling, tell him it is his moral duty. Ask him how he would feel if something did happen and he had ignored all the waring signs.
Tell him you do not expect to have to work alongside someone who discusses the breasts of a 13 yrs old CHILD. Tell him this is wrong. and he has a responsibilty to FACE this issue and not to ignore it. Tell him that the man is still using the internet at work. People have gone to prison for downloading illegal material here in the UK, look at Gary Glitter!
if both of you women confront him together and stand firm and don't allow your boss to make light of what you are saying he will have to act accordingly. Book an appointment with him to discuss this. make him set aside time after work where you can talk this matter through.
If your concerns highten, maybe you could talk to the police about this man?
You are right to take this seriously, make sure your boss does too.

Yuup...do those things...remember. you will have to have the documentation and don't let your boss make light of it. It is a pbrolem many men would like to just ignore...

If the harasser is young he just might not know better...Be confrontive with him!! Let him see you documenting his behavior!
