Spring has Sprung finally!!!

I wish every one here a beautiful, flowery, and clean springtime. Time to do some springcleaning. It's also time to buy seeds and plant your garden.

Enjoy the spring. I hope it would be a warm one just like the winter we've had this year!

Yep.

I with ya Ras!

Springtime is the most wonderful time of the year......(sounds like a song from somewhere........) Only, I suspect that the song was about winter and Christmas-time.......

Anyways, I'm getting ready to rent a pressure washer and clean my patio and perhaps buy some new patio furniture and hanging flower baskets.

Funny thing about spring - as I know that there will be a time when the yellow pollen here in GA will coat anything and everything....and it will be cursed - to some extent because of it - but is also reminds me of something I realized many years ago when I was selling Native American Sand Paintings years ago.....

As the story goes - there is this legend present amongst many native cultures that pollen, in fact - is a GOOD thing.....it spreads the gift and possibility of re-birth and actually is celebrated amongst many native cultures in the form of "pollen-boy" and "pollen-girl."

Not quite what you'd expect from the vast majority of folks operating their life on "auto-pilot" and not really taking into consideration what a great thing that simple, unassuming pollen contributes - while the vast majority of us only see the topical effects and complain about whatt a huge, yellow mess it leaves on our cars.................

All in the eye of the beholder, I guess....wouldn't you say??????

Anyway - looking to throw away alot of fricking, fracking CRAP that has been accumulating over the years in my homage to "Spring Cleaning" and be done with it all....and making way - LITERALLY for other good stuff to enter into my life.............

(Afterall, good things simply CAN NOT enter into our lives when we have this massive bunch of crap in it's way - you know?)

It's like having a "Welcome Mat" in front of our homes that is so cluttered and caked with mud and crap......that all that you can make out is a maybe a "W" in the beginning.....barely an "L" in the middle and an all but undistinguishable "E" at the end.

Yes indeed - THAT'S the house that I would want to enter šŸ˜‰

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

This years...I feel I just want to plant plant plant all sorts of flowers, kitchen garden stuff and all sorts of beauties. I miss gardening and am looking forward to doing it. My friend also loves gardening and he's gonna teach me a lot.

Ras,

Yes, the spring bug had bitten me!

I have a little bit of extra money, so I am looking at getting new (plastic) patio furniture and a new patio umbrella. Maybe this week-end.

Think that I will also get some flowering hanging baskets for "instant color."

There for a while I was into planting bulbs. Kind of associated myself with them in that bulbs have all that they need to bloom - all inside.....hell, some of 'em you don't even need to plant - they will just sprout regardless of their surroundings šŸ˜‰

And I once was told that even if you plant a bulb "wrong" with the sprouting part down....the bulb will actually shift itself around to face the sun and just "go for it."

I like that about bulbs šŸ™‚
