I had a great birthday, but this week school started and all the kids from college are back which is making this whole town so crowded. I have actually become so claustrophobic and its like everytime I am in the grocery store or something I start sweating and breathing hard and just have to get out of there. Even started happening at school. What the heck is going on with me.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time. Does sound like a panic attack to me also. Honey I also think you need to talk w/ your doc about this. There are meds you can take short term until you get this under control.

Look at the good things that happened on your bday and leave the bad things in the ditch.

Do you have a counselor? or would you think about checkin out one just to talk this out.

Yeah I have a therapist. He thinks it is a combo of the fact that my whole family forgot my birthday (although not one of my friends forgot) and my mom is overwhelming me and I am just in a bit of an angry space right now but today has been better. I am glad and I am just going to try to be patient with myself and allow myself to make me important enough to talk about whats going on with me.
