within the last three years my two oldest sisters died. sept.15 was the marking point for thier deaths.i still hurt and miss thier physical presence in my life.i learned today that i desperatly needed a way to tell them istill love them and missthem and to say goodby.ialso need to know that they still love me!ithought there was no way for me to tell them this, that it was too late.i thought i would go over the edge if i tried to let go of the grief(cry)or if i kept it in.my therepist taught me ,with the help of a guided meditation tape, that even though they are gone my relationship with them is not over.just like my love for them is still here, so is there love for me!i think my grieving is just beginning, and the pain may get worse before its better, but i have this since that i will not be screaming, alone, into the wind.my sisters and other loved ones will hear me and help me,and all will be understood.

Well, I'm sorry about your sisters, and it's never an easy thing to go through or deal with, but believe it or not there is hope. I don't know if you are a religious person or if you believe in God, but the bible says at Isaiah 25:8 that God "will actually swallow up death forever...and he will certainly wipe the tears from all faces." The reason why we as humans have such a hard time trying to cope with death is because it really is not natural. Mankind really has a longing to never die (to live forever). That's why scientists are continually working on experiments to make humans live longer. Remember that time heals all wounds, even the harsh wound that death causes. You are correct, you will be just fine. You just have to give it time. I hope that I have not offended you in any way. I really hope that I have been of some encouragement to you because that definitely is my intention. Take good care of yourself and hang in there.

I'm real sorry that you have not been able to come to terms with your bereavement.I was widowed very young and can understand the grief one feels at the loss of a dearly loved one.Time as we all know is the greatest healer of all sorrow.Take heart that there are many like you struggling to come to terms with their losses old and recent.Let me assure you that once the pain dulls you will emerge a stronger, caring and understanding person. One has to experience pain in ones own life to empathise with others.Have faith in God and He will lead you through this.

Hang in there manyvoices. Grief comes in stages and you will make it to the other side. I think you did a good thing by going to see a therapist and I'm sure he/she told you that whatever you are feeling is perfectly normal. Pray to them, talk to them, write them a letter perhaps and remember that God loves you very much and is right there with you. I wish you the best.
