Hey, we bought a water purifier last month from a shop in Ottawa. We have been using it for a month. I live with my grandmother and brother. Within a week of buying the purifier, my grandmom got sick! We considered she has affected by outside food and ignored. Then I had severe vomiting and then my brother got sick!
So as per the guidance of our family doctor, we inspected our water source and realized that it is contaminated! And the shocking thing was our purifier was not at all functioning as it promised to do!
I bought it from one of the famous shops in Ottawa, and I'm not sure how many people have already bought it from there! So I'm up to sue the water purifier brand and the shop owner if possible.
My family doctor suggested a nearby agency of product liability lawyers, https://www.sginjurylaw.ca/per.....-products/ , and I have got an appointment this Friday!
I haven't had any experience dealing with law people ever before, so I'm pretty nervous, yet I don't want to rethink my decision! So friends, can you please guide me with this, how easy/tough would be the meeting with attorneys? Also is there any preparations to be done before meeting a lawyer?
I would greatly appreciate your opinions, especially encouragements!
Many thanks!
