I have recently undergone a breakup and am feeling really lonley. I have never felt so dependent on someone for company. I have been going out and trying to meet new people but sometimes it just bothers me when things don't turn out the way I want them to. I thought that this might be a good place to get some good advice. I feel good about myself, but a lot of the time, I wonder why I can't find someone to love.

Sometimes I think we want love so much that we give more love to others. I know from my experience I loved too much. It only hurts more when you realize they don't love you back the same way.
I am sorry for what you are going through. I hope you find someone that will give you all the love you deserve.

I hear you hon, but I just don't know what to say.

I haven't been through a breakup in many years (8 1/2 to be exact) but my husband and I have been through a lot of rough times lately. We separated for two days and that was unbearable. Then he came back but things still aren't what I wish they were; I don't believe that they ever will be what I wish for.

Sometimes I feel like I might be the lonliest person on the face of the earth and that's something considering that I'm in a relationship. But I do understand the loneliness.

Love to you, keep your chin up, turn to your higher power, that is what helps me.

If you keep questioning you will find many answers! To recognize your human uniqueness is actually a blessing in disguise. Because I think it is similar to pulling the weeds from a beautiful garden!

Good Luck to you. Keep your chin up.
The sun will always shine again tomorrow!

Hi Mesh,

I identify with you honey thru many break-ups I've had with my ex-bfs.

There were many tools and resources that helped me in my journey. I would recommend you first and foremost to re-connect with HP, attend Coda meetings by loging coda.org, purchase good books such as "Codepenedent no more" by Melody Beattie.

Spend sometime alone discovering yourself, get involved with some hobbies and passions so that you stay busy and find out your gifts and talents. When you learn to love yourself, you're more likely to be ready for to find the right person.

Wishing your all the best, honey!~Ras~

i know its gonna sound nuts but lonlieness can be a good thing. you learn lots of fun new stuff about yourself. the best advise i have to give is to stay buisy. go places you havnt been in a whyle. remember all the fun things you did for yourself before the relationship. learn a new thing. take a bath. love comes from within. loving and pampering yourself will help take the sting out of it.
