So, has she delivered? I only saw your post lately. So I am copying and pasting my response.

Sorry hon, I just saw your thread. When I had adopted my stray cat, I did not know that she was pregnant. She was quite slim. Within 8 days of having her, I woke up in the morning to find out 2 small mouse-like creatures, beside her in the plastic basin in my bathroom both cuddling to her nipples. So, do not worry, it will happen and you won't feel anything. The cat will do all the work as poster indicated here.

What I did is I fetched them clean cardboard box and spared unwanted towel and put it inside the box and kept them away from air current and cold. It took place in June which is quite warm. Just make sure that all the kittens are sucking their mothers nibbles, coz if them don't they are very likely to die. They are very vulnerable just like newly born baby. I had one kitten, my present kitty, which was very obedient and disciplined, with good appetite always first to suck her mom; the other totally the opposite, I really had to check on her each time and force her to her mom's nipple. If I did not do that, chances are she wouldn't have stayed alive.

By the way, I was told that if the Mother cat is pregnant, I should feed her kittens food not cats food. So, ASA she delivered, I made sure that I fed her from that moment on dry/wet food for kittens NOT cats, since she is nursing mom.

Happy delivery and tell us honey when she delivers.

It was VERY ENRICHING AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE to me!!! I hope it'll be same to you!

Love, Ras & kitty~

I think as long as I'm not the one having the kitten it chould be a delight! But no, she hasn't had them yet, and I think she's getting a little miserable here. Just flopped out all the time looking sad and ruffled, and she's HUGE< so there must be like 8 or 9 of them in there...when she does finally have them (any day now I'm sure), I'm really going to have my hands full!!! Thanks for checking up! I assure you, I'll let all my kitty loving friends here know pronto when she delivers! Hugs, EF
