started a magnesium supplement called natural calm because i have chronic constipation despite increase in fiber, good dietary habits, increase in water, etc.

now I poop twice a day or more like regular people...wooohoo, this is a change...after 34 years of suffering

but also, my nails are stronger, after 34 years of nails that peel off in layers

my anxiety is better, tho not good enough to go off the zoloft, I found out

I am sleeping without the lunesta.

and when/if I get my period, hopefully it will help that too, as it is said to.

magnesium deficiency is a HUGE factor in fibromyalgia....which also related to insomnia, muscle cramps, menstrual issues, TMJ, IBS, anxiety, insulin resistance, etc...

this supplement I take is mixed in hot water and you can add tea to it and it's GOOD....or I think it is....I got the orange and it tastes like sugar free tang warmed up....it's soothing and calming.

since I have almost all symptoms of fibro, I am hoping that all natural supplements will ward off the most debilitating symptoms.

also, I am dropping weight as well.

do a google search for magnesium deficiency or "natural calm" supplement....educate yourself.

also worth mentioning that most alcoholics have 30-60% chance of having a magnesium deficiency and 90% of RECOVERING alcoholics do.

Ali - I have PMS each month and they are really painful. I will give this magnesuim supplement a shot and see if it eases my PMS as it did with yours.

Sometimes I find Magnesuim mixed with calcium and zinc. So I might purchase this one for added advantage.

Thanks for the infos!!!

the supplement I take is a special formula that is completely absorbed.

some supplements aren't readily absorbed, so be careful what you buy.

go to a reputable health food store with a knowledgeable person behind the ocunter...you could be wasting money for nothing.
