Hey Folks.

I have a special treat these next few months!

Amy Klingenhagen, an unpublished amateur Cleveland Writer, has graciously offered to share some of her personal writings with us.

Though these writings are all un-cut first drafts, she has been writing for more than 10 years in this format.

She would enjoy your feedback.

But mostly, she hopes her writings touch those who read.

Check back here for more postings of her writings, and she would love your honest feedback!

It is not the perfection, but the constant reflection of what I am when she whispers pain and fear - lonely, solid words
flowing in these eyes, these ears.

I eat bits of you when I sleep - I chew on the fat of reality so I may gorge on the center of my purpose.

Sit there, just sit there and listen to yourself. What sense is it that you surround yourself with hallow memories, with
endless, echoed winds of hopeless tales?

Her lips are pressed tightly, the tongue stuck to her dry pallet - then the language trickles so politely out.

Charming is she, so charmingly witty and profound. But does she realize the constant aging frown which creases her
face?

Tearing pieces, devouring the mass. I cannot believe this love has fallen alas.

The teeth chatter, the fingers fold in, is it the wrongful reason - what is her sin?

Treachery splits her face, opening the crack of the most vacant space. Does she prowl to succeed, or to cut the
blade deeper to feel herself bleed? Exquisite is she when the moon glows, so slow, so slow do the clouds suck into
that abyss of her unshown.

29 years and 34 days I thought I could stay.

29 years and 34 days I thought it could change the pain.

29 years and 34 days I must go before I fade and waste away into the emptiness of the words you would say when
making love to me that day, that night, that way.

Would it have killed you to stay in my arms a couple seconds longer before you drifted, floated - seeped into the
back of my mind - haunting my kind soul - - - taking my love, taking my love into that cemetery where the goblins
dig for more.

Holding my hand, singing in my ears - seducing my naïve body - my untouched tender chest which ceases at those
lips.

As pretty as you could, would and now never will be, the chunk of humanity left in me will not know, not glow for you
anymore.

She does make you feel the moment, she triggers a memory. Great work.
