I thought that this would be a great way to learn More about diffrent food back grounds and some wonderful new meal ideas. Heres one of my own
I have no idea what to call it but its really good.

Ingredients:

6 cups water

1 box of rice-a-roni

1 package chopped broccoli

2 tsp. dry minced onion

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 package cream cheese (cubed)

1 chopped chicken breast (optional)

you just boil the water with the rice-a-roni and seasoning packet in it.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 min.
Add broccoli and onion and simmer for 5 min.
Then add cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken.

Stir until cheese melts and it's dinner.

My family loves my Citrus chicken, I have also made it with shrimp.

Sautee about 3 cloves of garlic in olive oil, add fresh cilantro chopped, about 2 tblsp. or to taste.

Squeeze the juice and pulp from: 1 orange, 1 lemon, and 1 lime. I also add some of the zest or peel.

Add about 2-3 cups of orange juice, I also add more lime juice..bring mixture to a boil.

Mix about 2 tblsps of cornstarch in a cup of water and add to mixture to thicken.

Lightly sautee the chicken breasts or shrimp. Place them in a pan and pour the mixture over the chicken and continue to cook, either in the oven or on the stove, until its fully cooked.

I serve it with brown rice, which I add peas or other veggies to. Its is soemwhat puttsy, but good.
