I grew up in a home with an alcoholic father and an extremely codependent mother. My sister who is now divorced and living with my mother is now my mother's codependent person but with money and independence instead of alcohol. Neither of them see it and it is sickening to me. Is there anything I can do to make them open their eyes?

No, unless you want to fall into the codependent trap. Take care of your self, send a book once and a while, but come from a loving heart. Maintain your spirit, and let them learn their lessons at their own time.
If you force the issue, your the enemy, they will cosign each other. Not everyone wants to be healthy, your mother has continued this behavior because it works for her, and well guess sis found what works for her as well. So, live, and let live. Its hard, but take care of your self, and your energy.
