I just voted today, and I can't stress how importatant it is to vote. My people (Negro) fought hard for me to exercise this right and I have not let them down. I have three boys and they see me as a role model, I expalin to them about voting and they see the preparations I go through in order to vote...ex.(early voting ./..etc) My husband has not voted in 36 years because he simply choose not to. Needless to say, I finally got through to him and he will cast his first ballot today!!!! I simlpy told him , you're not only voting for you....you are voting for our children, neices, nephews....PLEASE VOTE, DONT BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO THINK THAT YOUR DOESN'T MATTER.

I just voted. I am glad I did, because we are voting for important things today.

Before I went to the polls, I did take some time to review the UNBIASED voter information that was sent me instead of all the junk in the mail and the TV advertisments that are so distorted anyway.

Count me in 🙂 I am also proud to say that I voted for a mix of different people - in other words I didn't just vote according to party. I am so tired of how polarized politics have gotten.

I even left the party I used to vote for last year and became an independent. This was my way of speaking out against how ridiculous it's become - THEY need to learn to work together again like they used to!

i voted. my mom won her election. I couldn't vote for her, since I don't live in her area. it was a tough race. I'm so proud of her. she's not your typical politician. thank you to everyone who voted. i'm starting to feel better about things. my two most important local races didn't work out my way, but i'm glad at the overall turnout and my mom's race.

I voted...and stood in line for a pretty long time to do so. Very few of the candidates or issues I voted for won, but at least I let my vote be counted. I voted independent, too...and have for lots of years. I don't look at political party but at each candidate and their beliefs. That is getting more and more difficult to do, as they spend most of their time slinging mud at the other party and never talking about what their platform is. I wish all the Congressman and Senators luck, and I hope they can accomplish the changes they have promised.

And...one more thing. I think we need to remember how lucky we are as Americans to have the right to vote. To be allowed to vote without fear of violence or persecution. To have our voice heard. Many people in other parts of the world would die for that opportunity.
