rw2, boosting this up if you didn't see it.

I had a friend that used it for some anxiety she had regarding childhood issues that where carrying over into her everyday life, and she swears by it--never used it myself, but from what I gather it's a dropper of herbals in an alcohol solution to preserve it...you drop it under your toung and the healing properties of the herbs and flowers take over and begine to sooth you.

The bottle it came in was really pretty too.

RW...I suggested it to you.

Its the best best little bottle of stuff I've ever found.

A friend suggested it to me as she tried it for exam nerves. My sister uses it for panic attacks.

I use it now while going through some depression and anxiety and its has helped so much. Takes away that stomach churning feeling.

I know another friend who uses it for "night terrors" and she swears by it.

I had panic attacks at night because of my addiction to a person. I would get them at night. towards the end of the relationship, I got them more frequently. I also had anxiety. I went to doctor, and now I am on Lexipro, which is antidressant and also trazedone to help with anxiety and helping me to sleep. Since I have been on it, I have had no panic attacks at night. No more blood rushing through my body. I sleep most of the night and wake up not so tired. It has changed my life and I am more calm and relaxed. I still get depressed over the break up but it has not been that long. I am coping. I don't like the idea of being on meds but it works for me so I take it.

RW...I just started taking lexapro.

When did you start hearing the voices?

I want to watch out for any side-effects.

its not a normal one in my family we have a history of siktsophrania damn i cant spell. Anyway i dont have it but because its in my family there is a tiny tiny part in me and the lexapro brought it out. And those meds are not for me any way cause they treat depression and i am bipolar depressive person with Post termatic stress disoreder and those are very hard to treat infact they have me on 4 diffrent meds and they are just starting to help a little so i wouldnt worrie about hearing voices hunny i was one of the first known cases of that so dont worry hunny

RW2- a very good friend of mine suffers from PTSD and had audio and visual hallucinations. The more he worked in therapy the more the hallunications subsided and he almost never has them now. He is on several meds as well and suffers from anxiety and severe depression. Hang in there and things will get better. If things got too bad he would go to the hospital, he said he felt safe there. He would also talk to me, says hearing my voice calms him and he feel s safe when we are together. I know you have some things coming up that are working on you. there is always a safe place to go, find where that is for you.

whoa. I do not hear voices. if I did, I would want to hear only things that I want to hear, and nothing that would frighten me. Give me the winning lottery ticket or something of that nature. ha ha. Anyway Lexipro has not given me any side effects that I am aware of. Working good for me.

I am on lexapro as well and it has worked wonders on me, took about a full month to reach full effectiveness and I had also just started counseling, so I guess the combination of the two works great for me. Also was on trazadone at the beginning and still take it from time to time a needed.

on the lexapro issue...

i ended up hearing voices, and was SO convinced i had to kill myself, i was hospitalized for almost 3 months last year as a result.

i was told that it brings out these qualities in SOME people, just to be careful.

problem was, no one told me anything about all of that until it was a problem.

my advice would be to just be very careful.
