If you do, what kind of towns would you say they were?

I live in Indiana, and though not in those towns, I do know people that live in both, and they seem to be very happy. I suppose it would depend on what exactly you were wanting to know about them.

Hi Snow,
Thanks for getting back to me. My school is in Newburgh IN, but I live in Las Vegas. I just wondered. Thinking about moving elsewhere.

on my way,

Well, from what I know its a nice area. Indiana doesnt have the best job market, so some people find it hard to get by here. There are a lot of farmers, lots of rural areas, etc. But if youre coming to go to school, and dont need to work full time then Im assuming you would like it.

But..I gotta tell ya, its veryyyyy slow paced around here. Ive been here a little over 3 years now, came here from Florida. Its nice, people are generally good, and the crime isnt bad. But Im wondering if you would be bored leaving Las Vegas and coming to little ole po-dunk Indiana...lol.

A town more like what you are used to in Vegas would be Indpls. IUPUI (IU /Purdue )Indpls. The city has more to do, more hustle bustle than someplace like Evansville. I would stick to the downtown area for housing too. Evansville is quaint, small, and not much to do. Its a college town,...quiet.

Indiana is cheap to live here. You would be amazed at how much house you can buy for your money.

And we have a pretty decent football team ..............

GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
