drink fat free milk, its good for you.......ooooh Z....i was a size 10 about 3 plus years ago........so want to be back to that size maybe even an 8....so keep up the good work hon!!

Hi,

Whole milk is not good for you as it contains so much fat. However, skim milk is very good for you. In fact, it is on the list of the Ten Best Foods to Eat. It also is a wonderful source of protein. So drink away (as long as it is skim)!!!

P.S. try it with some Slim Fast and you have a delicious drink (better yet, put the milk in the freezer for about 40 minutes before you mix the slim fast and it will taste just like a Fudgecicle). I actually lost 8 pounds in a month using Slim Fast. Now I drink it, not to lose weight, but because it taste soooooooo good.

well, 3rd day this week my calories are too high!! yikes, i still hope i end up losing when i weigh in Monday am.

I dunno....i ate 2 slices of pizza, not huge slices, and still ate some
freaking Ring Dings after.....i feel full, and I feel fat!!!

I hope and pray the scale is good to me next week, i do know, i lost control tonite, big time....yet 2morrow i can workout extra long to hopefully make up for some of it.

Just venting!!!!!!!

no worries Camer..you always lose weight anyway..you must do really good most of the time.

I only had 900 something calories today so that I can see a difference on the scale tomorrow morning. This whole week I am going to eat under 1000 to see if I lose weight. Cant stand this..have been weighing this much forever and I am a very active person.. I think my body is too used to eating 1500 cal so that is why I dont lose weight.

This weekend is raining a lot here so I wont be able to exercise at all.

P.S. I better check my spelling..saw a lot of typos in my last post.

maybe you are not eating "enough"....you workout soooo much and need to replace the lost cal's with food......i have heard that minimum for anyone dieting should be 1200 calories, i think if you go below 1000 your body will go into starvation mode and the metabolism will sloooow wwayyyy down. Just a thought.

Nope..if I ate more then I would be heavier. I weighed this morning and I am one lb. less this morning. Thats from eating 1000 cal yesterday. I would have been less but my friend came over and brought chicken and I had 2 pieces at 11:00pm. He eats very late because he has to work late on Fridays and he likes to have company. So I sacrificed probably one or two lbs.

I am really keeping this down to 1000 cal. for at least this week and see what happens.

I was eating 1500-1800 cal last week and was gaining weight..and working out 3x hiking for 2 or more hours...so go figure.

Got up this morning at 4:30am and was starving..had to go downstairs and get some raisin bran and milk..maybe I'll go back to sleep since there is no hiking today...its raining here.

I finally go back to WW meeting tomorrow to weigh in. Havent really gone because I feel like I am doing everything right but gaining weight so why go and get disappointed at the scale.

yes, i guess trying the 1000 calorie diet may be good, see what happens.

Finally lost 2.5 lbs this week just from lowering calories since Thursday or Friday. I am so motivated. I have to keep this up...mainly really concentrate on less eating and more protein in my diet. If I am hungry..I have to eat a protein instead of a sweet snack or carb. Last night just had chicken for dinner..nothing else.

I want to go hike this morning..but its so ugly out there..Its been raining this week.

How are you doing Camer? you always do good anyways. How much have you lost since we started our club?

I've only lost 2.5 since we started that was just this week..but I've found what works for me.

I cant wait to lose another 5 lbs. and then 10. I think 15 is good for me..but really need to lose 25.

yay for the 2.5!!

so far i am down 3 lbs, 2lbs my 1st week and 1 lb on week 2......i don't think i am going to lose this week, bad eating habits, and i still weigh the same as last week....we'll see 2morrow when i step on that scale!

Fell off the wagon..did really good today until 5:00pm..I went to a baby shower and I ate...Not too much but enough to show 4 lbs. on the scale when I got home. I was down 4 as of this morning since Friday...Even went for a long walk with my dog today. I was so good.

This is why I hate going to parties or celebrations...food is a social thing for me.

I didnt have as much as I usually do..I have 5 doritos with some kind of dip...then the main course which was not a lot...didnt overdo it..probably one cup each of the side dishes and the meat.then some kind of empanada..and then a piece of cake and I all had for drink was water. How could all that amount to 4 lbs this evening. My goal is to be on 1000 cal a day for 2 weeks and lose 10 lbs.

I think you shouldnt look at the scale more then once a week. It can vary esp if you just ate. Give it time. Surprise yourself at the end of the week. Instead of a disappointment at the end of the day. Since then you think of that disappointment instead of the surprise.

hi....my weight can eaily go up 5 lbs from my morning weigh in, to the night, after all the food i ate, i usually drop 3 lbs easily by the next day, due to water, etc.

I am bummed though, i weighed myself this am and i am **up one pound***...pisses me off cuz i lost 2 lbs, then 1 lb, and this week I gained that 1 lb back so after 3 weeks, i really only lost 2 lbs.

I know what i have to do, eat less, i look at my charts, yes, i write everything down, and the past 3 weeks, 1 "overate" 3 to 4 of the days during the week, and that's why i gained....food is my enemy!!

I am going to workout alot this am, and weigh myself when i get back, hopefully that *one pound* will be gone.

I know i have to stick to the plan alot better, yes, eat less, maybe cheat 1 or 2 x a week not 3 or 4...

Off i go.....

Thanks Billy for your encouragement..you are so sweet. I am following your thread make sure J is being nice to you.

Camer - lets stick to our program just for the end of the week...that means eating the calories we committed to, writing everything down, drinking lots of water and posting here....and just one drinky for you Camer...lol.

I was off 2 this morning from last night. Had I not gone to that party, I would have been right on schedule. No Super Bowl parties for me this year. I am going to drink lots of water today plus my magic tea and I will try not to eat dinner so that I can see the 2 lbs. off.

Dont skip means 2 b. Then food will be on your mind. If I dont eat even if I am sick. I think hmm what will I have tomorrow. Hmm next thing I know I am ordering a pizza at 1 in the am.

Eat a big lunch, then work it workit. Drop it like its hot.

You are doing good. Remember it is a life style choice. Can you afford to miss dinner on a regular basis to lose the weight?

Well I fell hard this weekend too. My dessert area was way to big. I recognized that I was feeling stress and then eat a lot of dessert. So I will try very hard to be better this week.

Eating healthy and exercising daily is hard work.

2b, Billy & Zebra....glad to see everyone posting, well i just did my walk and burned 450 calories, and eating an English muff and some milk...i'll wait 3 hours then have my Turkey with tons of lettuce on a wrap, and 3 hours later eat a *1 point* yogurt...and for dinnear tonite around 6:30pm, having a WW dinner...so today i know i am good calorie wise, plus i burned 450 calories working out....and i am not going to eat "extra" cuz i worked out. I have to stick with this!!!

Just an idea Camer, I buy yogurt and add I cant think of the name, oats (granola). I usually buy the big yogurt thing though.

And Billy, yes, i have heard of that, more filling, when i do have my
Fiber One Caramel crunch, which is hardly any calories, i hear blending that with yogurt is real good.

I like yogurt, its only 1 to 2 points and yummy, i actually like to "freeze mine"...and then it tastes like ice cream when i eat it!!

yummy yogurt. I like to mix my in the blender with blueberries and make is a shake. SO good. I throw in bannans too.

I had some Raisan Brand Ceral this morning. I will have a Tuna sandwich for lunch and then for dinner is 1/2 grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup.

And my walk with the dogs. If my son took them today...then I will do some walk/jog instead. I do 45 minutes worth but I would like to get up to and hour and 1/2 per day.

Camer ...I drink a combination of green tea and white tea all day. Drink it like ice tea with splenda.

I also drink this Chinese Tea to clean up my stomach.

Today I stuck to the 1000 cal..hardly ate thought..but 300 cal came from this fruit danish I had.

But mostly had veggies, fruits and meat.

Hopefully the end of this week will be good. Just started the 1000 last Friday.
