You (and Lisa) are an inspiration to us all. Thank you for your strength & wise words of wisdom. In reading various threads, you are an amazing person. So busy, yet you have time to share here. God bless. You are appreciated. Thank you.
ps - things have quieted down my way for which I am thankful.

Thank you Juanita - you just made my day.

Yes, I always seem to have thirty different things going at once. The other day a friend of mine got on to me (actually two different friends, but same conversation) about doing too much while being sick. But, it helps to stay busy, and try to be "normal" - make sense?

But thank you so much... however, Lisa is the inspiration.

Glad to hear things have calmed down for you. I'm telling you I have racked my brain trying to find that article I read with no luck. But, glad I was able to tell you essentially what it said.

Did you have your "talk" with your husband? How did it go?

Love,

Zinnie

Well, as much as it saddens me, I have backed off from seeing my friend as much any more. My husband still brings up his "ideas" once in a while, but has greatly chilled in intensity so I can handle it better. He's also changed which "fantasy" he's working on fulfilling. (too try & word it gently, he wants to go IN where things are meant to go OUT.) Maybe I'm a stick in the mud. Too conservative. There has to be a middle ground. (He's liking the lingerie I'm bringing home now.) I still worry whether or not he will stray from me cuz I'm not adventurous enuff in bed but....? I don't know. All I know is that sometimes we agree to dis-agree, and this is one of those times. I still hurt inside, but so long as I don't dwell on it I'll be fine. This has definitely changed me though. When I'm down and out, I'll have to be very careful. I am afraid that I will stray looking to feel loved somewhere else when I don't feel it at home (but I am working hard to avoid that). I know he loves me very much. He's a great hubby every other way. He's just trying to sow his (and mine) wild oats I guess before we get too "old". I'm hoping 20 years of history together will be enough to keep us both on the same track. Gotta laugh though. I thought of the perfect come back! The next time he mentions us bringing another man into our bedroom to spice things up.... I'll say "Sure! Get Brandon Frazier or Tom Selleck... I'll get them first, you get them second!" Think it will work??

At any rate, your's and Lisa's lives have touched mine. Really put things in perspective. My troubles and pains are miniscule. Lisa is a brave and wonderful girl. All the children she's help in the hospital are thankful for her love and attention. I only hope that as her short term memory is affected that she doesn't remember the actual event happening. They say the mind can block out traumatic events. I hope she has... the horror she suffered makes me cry. No one deserves anything like that. There is no punishment is prison strong enough to equate what Lisa suffered and continues to go through. All my best to her. If you have a chance, looks up the words to "Juanita" on the net (by Shaina Twain). I love that song. Its about finding the strong and (wild) woman within and letting her help you heal your broken heart & dream again. As Lisa loves music, maybe she will like the song too.

All my best. Hope you are feeling better today. Stay strong & thanks for all your help. Tell your friends that you are appreciated. (remember though, you can't help anyone if you get too sick, so stay healthy & get your rest too)
