i guess there's dance clubs around here too, but I've never been much of a dancer. And I don't like large crowds either.

I don't like dancing either. To tell you the truth, I haven't been out in a long time, except for things that I can do by myself or a few coffee-shops with acquaintances. I'd love to go to an Italian restaurant and for a walk in the countryside.

I was going to sign up for a tour of churches and monasteries near Jerusalem today, it's a beautiful Arab village among the Jerusalem mountains and they have great restaurants too, but then I felt sick so I didn't go. I love tours of monasteries and churches. Pity it didn't turn out.

Ok, you guys, true confession here, went for the second date, internet thing yesterday, same nice person. Damn the second monologue, he is nice, has security written all over him, nothing that hurts the eyes, but not attracted to him. He wanted me to come over today, and tonight, har har har, even invited the dog, cook diner, and watch movies. I have to e-mail him no thanks. Its the truth, don't know if its me, him, or the rambling haunting of Sybil in the background. So, to kill more time, went back to do a search of available in the area, and damn if I didn't get another reply. I think dating is like going to the dentist!!!!

I wouldn't know. I have a bad feeling that by the time I do finally get someone to go out with me, I'm going to screw it up so badly that she's never going to want to see me again.

I mean, I have no idea what to do. I don't even know how to get there to begin with. Why do all these uphill battles of mine have to be vertical rock-climbing expeditions?

You're not missing much. We still have most of last weekend here so it looks longer than it actually is (heh.)

I spent an hour at my sister's place helping them clean up their back yard. It was something to do. I'm kind of ticked off at the weather. It was threatening to rain all morning, and just when I decide not to go to the beach it all clears up and becomes a beautiful day.

It's like I'm being contained here.

I should introduce you to my friend Andrea in NJ. My friend says NJ is the armpit of america, mainly because certain areas have high concentrations of what we call "guidos" down here - slicked back hair, gold chain, clightly unbuttoned shirt, too much cologne. You know the type. The girl is always moaning about how men are evil, and I said it's because all she dates are egotisitcal guidos.

Hey, I'm married and a dateless loser. Once you get hitched you don't get any more dates. I'm so blaaaaaaaaaaah. Off to play Cubis. Or Bejeweled. I'm a dork. Maybe I'll go on a robbery spree on Vice City with the kitana. AAAAAARGH.

Oh, I saw Dreamcatcher last night and it was prety dern good.

I really feel mixed emotions about the email I sent to that last date, I know he was expecting me and the dog for dinner and the night, bring your toothbrush, you say after a 20 min exchange, either I am damn hot, or he is damn desperate.Vertical climb is the same as going to the dentist, don't ya think ?

I've seen better King movies. I've read better King novels as well. X2 was definitely worth the price of admission.

I like the casual slinging of racial slurs. Very South Jersey of you. 8^P

But blaaaahh isn't so bad when you've got someone else to do it with. It's being completetly alone all the time that sucks so much.

OK. 9:45 over here. Still just as bored as I was 6 hours ago. How come they only have crappy TV shows on saturday nights? It's like they don't anticipate anyone to be home to watch them... Oh yeah.

Anybody else out there tonight?

Judging by the chirping cricket sounds, I'm guessing that I'm all alone here. OK. A priest and atheist and a rabbi walk into a bar--

I heard that one already!

Sorry... Jeez

Buenas noches silence and all...

Cici now were you talking to me or to silence about introducing your friend Andrea too...hehehe just kidding!!

Went out to the lake to check on my kid rode my bike a few miles in the wind and made it back into town early enough to swing by a AA meeting, very small meeting but a good one, I even talked. AA people don't care how your dressed, look or smell for that..lol

Molly it could be that your damn hot! or that he is desperate all at the same time BUT I think it's the new manicure...and believe me I know what I am talking about...hehehe, and to tell you the truth I have been to the dentist more of late than I have been on dates, and the one so called date I did go on was one you could say I am glade ended early. Give your selve some time Molly it hasn't been that long, just have fun and take the toothbruch if you want and don't feel bad about it, or do what you did with the e-mail and don't feel bad about it. Many of fish in the sea, well...

On a roll? Is that some weird, sexual metaphor... if it is, I don't even want to know. 8^P

I first need to see if that old saying is true about riding a bike. I haven't been on a bike in 13 years. And my sense of balance has changed immensely since then. I wasn't quite as stocky then as I am now.

I've been thinking of taking up walking. Might as well have something to do at 2AM. I'm up anyway. I might as well do something. I just hope that we don't have a curfew around here.

yes I think that old saying is true about bike riding, but I haven't been on the saddle in a month or so and you do lose some of your nerve. I couldn't take the down hill curves in the gravel as fast as I use to, and damn if that seat wasn't hard today, but hey...wouldn't have it any other way, and yes silence you can take that anyway your mind wants too...LOL.

Walking sounds good and is a start, but if you do think about walking at 2am, please be carefull I have become attacted to you silence....

Okay. I know I'm late. I missed all the good parts of this conversation, but someone said "three-some" early on in this thread and that got my attention. Can I come over and play? When you said threesome did you mean three only, or three-and-then-some? Adventure. It's been a while...

darn it. Another post slipped in. Actually arwen, that 3 way bit was a response I gave to a question of yours a week ago.

And I don't know... I don't think I'd like a real threesome. I'm not good when I'm with two other people in regular life conversations. I always turn out to be the guy that gets ignored while the other two have a full on chat. I hate that feeling of being left out when it's happening right in front of me.

Well I fell asleep that is how good TV was how many times can one sleep through Gladiator ? I got to thinking about the uncomfortable feelings with the e-mail to cancel, I guess it is boundary lines getting formed. No settling.

Okay. Am I the only one who noticed the irony in the "Glad-ee-ate-er" thing? lol, Molly! That was a good one whether intended or accidental...

Silence, I used to have a friend who said he thought 3-some's were no fun because someone always ends up getting left out.

If you're going to make an Oreo, I suggest that you select the role of the icing...

The icing? I don't know. I also don't like people being behind me. At a restaurant I always try and get the chair against the back of a wall. I like to keep an eye on each person in the room.

C'mon, it's even worse if you know everyone expects you to have a companion in misery, but he's off watching the playoffs, the NFL draft, or some equally mind-numbing pasttime. Or working.

And Molly, I'm thinking you just fall under the category of "damn hot". 🙂

Guidos. Hmmmm... What's that smell?

Hee heeeeee
