This stinks. Tonight they're playing Nightmare on Elm St. 1+2 at exhumed. I can usually get someone to tag along with, but nobody else can go tonight. I hate going to the movie marathons alone.

Nope? Just me this week? OK. Well how was your day?

Shut up! Can't you see I'm not in the mood to talk?

Sorry. Just asking.

Well... since you really want to know. Nothing really. Went to the movie marathon alone last night. Had a few laughs. Tossed some butterflies off the balcony. Left halfway through the second movie because I was tired. Then I slept till 1 PM the next day.

Today I just watched TV and read an old book. Then some extended family came over for dinner. We ate and then I retreated back into the dungeon, er, basement. Real fun.

God I'm bored.

I'm right handed, but I've been a left handed friend since I was 13. My left arm was always weaker and I figured that if I was going to be doing it anyway, I might as well build up my useless arm in doing so.

Now-a-days it's just habit. I get aroused and my left hand gets grabby.

My dungeon is a lot cleaner now than it used to be. All the junk that used to be stored down here has been shoved into the utility room. As far as my mother in comcerned, that means clean. Even though I spend the most time down here, I could care less either way.

The green screen has been torn down. in fact all I can see is some empty luggage, some of my mom's paintings, and a little roman column that used to hold a plant near our front door. On the other side of me is the TV and couch where my ass sits the rest of the time. That area is littered with countless magazines and game notes I have yet to sort through.

My computer area is nice, but that's probably due to all the origami creations I have scattered around here. There's not much to describe after that unless you want to hear about the garbage can.

Anyone ever watch Amazon Women on the Moon? I love that segment where the guy buys the specialized "video date." Man, I'd love to rent one of those now.

Actually, I haven't seen that movie in a while. That's an idea.

You know, I like to cruise these threads when I have time to, and I have read lots of posts from you, Silence and Angie. So, what's with the "Dateless Losers" theme?

I have read entire threads, long threads, just to read the things you say to help others. I have learned tons from the interactions that take place here, and most of the threads that interest me have some of your wisdom posted there.

So, in my opinion, if you are alone on a Saturday night, then you're with yourself. In which case, you aren't dateless, and you can't be losers because you obviously have good taste when it comes to who you choose to spend your quality time with.

Now, one could argue that I'm only saying this because I'm home alone tonight. However, I can assure you, I will have a wonderful time with me. I will pamper myself. I will not HAVE to do anything I don't feel like doing. And I will most likely end my self-date with something intensely emotionally and physically satisfying. I hope you all do the same!!!

physically satisfying and with self, now you open the door on that one arwen...I guess you could say I am not left handed but left handed...LOL

Ok on a more serious note, if I could I would go get silence out of his dungon and take him out on the town for some fun. We could check out the girls together or something, BUT I can't do that so here we sit...Losers no we are not, we just feel like losers at times, as you have read silence is one smart dude!!!

Quilty time...I guess

silence I am cooking a 7-bone roast with carrots, potatos and rice. Wanta join?

Sounds nice. I'm with you in cyber-spirit, believe me.

I reheated some old soup and got midway through Amazon Women. I forgot how great this movie is. I had to take a break to watch the Bill Maher show. I missed it last night while I was at the movies.

As for the self-date theory... I guess any relationship is the same. The first rounds of dating are fun... but after a few years, the novelty wears off. I've been self-dating for 9 years. I need a break from myself at this point.

I NEVER say anything nice about my cooking but I did cook a kick ass roast tonight, no full moon or anything, don't know what's happening. I am being so out of the norm the last couple of days, I am starting to worry about myself (0:

Dear Silence,

Imagine that you had been married for 9 years and things had gotten kind of dull. What would you do to spice things up? How would you re-engage your partner? You deserve nothing less, whether you have a partner in someone else, or within yourself.

I say dice those jalapenos and see what happens next...

Love,
Arwen

OK. We're getting into a whole weird area here. All right. You know how me and lefty want to spice things up. We want to try a threesome. But how do we approach someone for such a proposal?

Yikes. I hope those disappear quick.

I guess I'm starting feeling sorry for myself early this weekend. I already saw X2 thursday night, so I've got nothing to do. The sky looks like it's about to drop another sudden shower on us, so I really don't want to go to the beach either.

Bored, bored, bored...

Maybe AAC should set up a little online game room or something. I'd like to play a round of poker or hearts with you guys just so I have something to do with friends who are as bored as I am.

Silence,

I'm as bored as you and I'm lonely too. Wish we could go to the movies together or eat something out...or is there someplace else you'd rather go today?

In NJ we have a lot of two things. Movie theaters and shopping malls. I'm not much of a shopper, so I guess I'm a movie person. When I was younger I used to go to the video arcades a lot, but they all closed down a few years ago. So unless I want to go to the movies, or drive into philly, there's not much to do around here.

Actually, people watch sports too. But I only watch football.

I might just go to the movies again and see something for the second time. That should take care of a few hours.

Here weekends are boring too. There's movies and discotheques and restaurants/coffee-shops. Unless one signs up for a weekend retreat or trip.
