I've always said there's no such thing...it's just something we say to ourselves to ease the pain when someone dumps us. If someone wants to be with you, they will.

Or do you feel YOU are commitment phobic?

Ok I read it. Wow. What makes you think he's commitment phobe? Sounds like you're just making excuses for him.

If he wanted to be with you, he would! He wouldn't cheat on you! No you are not going to get over him with him living in your place. I don't understand why he's still there?
Doesn't he have a job???

i wonder sometimes if my boyfriend is a commitment phobic, or if he just knows already he doesnt want to marry me but he is just staying here because he doesnt have anything else going on now...but everytime I bring up the fact that I want to get married within like 2 weeks he wants to breakup because I am too old for him, or he wont reach his full potential, or some reason... I mean, the bottom line is that I guess he doesnt want to be with me... why cant i just kick him to the curb then I wonder? ish...I must be desperate! I hate it... when I get desperate... I degrade myself, manipulate him, and neither one of us is ever happy. I guess I need to just let him go and live with it. Well, sorry to horn in on your post here... but good luck.

Ask him straight-up what his intentions are and if he ever has any plans to marry you. Guys generally will not lie about that. But be prepared for whatever he may say.
