Just recently I have seen a drop in my grades. I was a straight 'A' student but now I am frustrated. Last semester I had a 4.0 but I had a long battle with depression which I won or at least I thought so. But lately it has seemed as though my grades don't matter. WHY???????????????
I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!! Please help me! I just feel as though now my best isn't enough and my former high grades are just a memory. What will I do?

Are you board or burnt out? Are you balanced, or just studying? Take the breaks you need, get the work done on schedule, this could be early spring fever. Plan a reward trip for the end of the quarter. Beware to not feed the depression, or procrastination. Go to the gym to clear your head.

Frustrated,

DOn't let it get you down. You must pray and be strong. Is there something that is hindering your progress? Just continue to look to the hills from whence your help comes. Your labor, if you really try, is not in vain. Don't worry, it will be all right.

The reward trip is a great idea. I did that with a friend once. we successfully fni=shed the semester and went camping for a week.

It was great. Having a reward to look forward to might help.

AND do you NEED straight A's? As an older person who hires or at least helps to hire teachers....straight A's tells me the person can apply themselves to academia. A straight B person can usually do just as good a job and maybe be more well rounded.

Grades are the reflection of the teachers (prof's) ggrading system and does not tell me ...the emplyer anything about the person I am hiring.
