i've just realized that i am codependent on my partner, and this is by far my fault. he has just loved and supported me for the last three years and i have pushed him away by being over sensitive and having a deep need for security.

therefore, what i want to ask is, do you think it's possible to recover from this issue and still remain with this man?

Yes and yes. Like you said he has always supported you and there is no reason why he should stop now. Just communicate with him about your new self discoveries and you can even ask you to call you on when you are acting insecure and overly sensitive. Are you attending CoDA meetings? Have you read Codependent No more or working with a therapist? I wish you all the best. Keep posting and reading these threads. You are not alone.
