Whenever I write anything that is lengthy and the word "don't" is in it... I leave that word out of whatever I am writing.. for example

I would mean to write the sentence ".. and they don't even know it, but..."

however I would write, ".. and they even know it, but..."

this really changes the meanings of what I write... and here I wrote something that wasn't even a page long and I left out at least 3 "don't"s.

Any ideas?

Fruedian slip? Slip of the tongue? An unconscious mishap?

Think about what you wrote immediately after you write it without lookng at the script. Look at your intentions. Then go back and re read it and see if anything enlightens you. (?)

Otherwise, check your typing?:-)

i was even COPYING a writing from paper to the computer and i missed the word.. i just didn't type it. yet i completely remember typing it.

am i already suffering from dementia?

it's only the word "dont"

am i that rebellious of a person that i hate the word dont so much that i **** use it?

Then "don't" use it and substitute it for another word such as "do not" or reverse the sentence to read otherwise.

It is a rather strange phenomena!

When you figure it out, please do share?

Perhaps "don't" is just not part of your vocabulary.

Sort of like "can't" is not part of others people's.

lol...just a thought.

It clearly has to do with childhood trauma. Being told "Don't" all the time has carried over into your adult life. I'm kidding. What would happen if someone was hurting you...what would you say? Ummm...please stop that? Or "DON'T!!!!" This is an interesting and perplexing problem, of which, I don't have an answer.

I always type "because" as "becasue". Every freakin' time. I am sick of backspacing.

LOL!
