Next week in is the master bedroom. Have you thought of what you can do in there for spring.

I finally cleaned off the mess that was on my desk, Faced my checkbook. I am abouot to sit down and start doing quotes for a sales meeting I have Tuesday.

I have a chicken thawing for dinner.

Take care my FlyFriend

That's awesome. When I woke up this morning, I thought about maybe planning a small kitchen garden. I'd love to have more rosemary and a couple of tomato plants.

Right now, I'm putting together a flying audio cd.

day one of flying solo:

best part of day was a massage. worst part of day was school wrangling.

in my lovely life, my children take more initiative to build their own lovely lives.

bblue,
I believe that the theme for today will be: you have to name it to claim it.

may there be many rays of sunshine throughout your day.

I had the ladies come over and work on my "office"/kitchen/dining room. Oh what a difference. All I have been able to do is sit and look.

They hung curtains to block off the alcove that is my "office". They moved furniture around and rehung pictures and declutterd my countertops. I helped them. Do we throw it away or not. Sure let's get rid of it. The room looks HUGE.

Remember the entire house is only 975 square feet!!!!

They are room redesigners. They redesign a room using your furniture and accessories. They had been in my home before so they picked up some drapes for 10 bucks, but everything else I already had.

I am sure if you look in your local area you can find someone. I think it was money well spent. I am in a BNI group with them so I got a discount.

I don't feel like I am camped out here with a mishmash of my things and my dad's. I really feel like this is mine and Cat's HOME.

While they were here we kind of sketched out a "plan" for me to work towards gradually. Bamboo shades in the living room to warm it up. Wood blinds in the kitchen to make it look sharp and crisp rather than the el cheapo mini blinds I have. Little changes over time.

When you consider this house was built in 1937 and had been remodeled in the 80's it really does look nice. That is what I have missed for the past few years. I rented houses and made do. This is actually mine.

Bonni thank you for starting this thread. Slowly but surely I am building a lovely life thanks to encouragement I get here.

How are you this morning my dear Bonni? I actually managed to sleep until 7 this morning. Usually every week day morning when my alarm clock goes off I have to drag myself out of bed then the weekend comes and I am wide awake at 6.

Hey Bitsy,
I'm ok. Trying to shake off being tired. I know I need to take better care of me. All I really want to do is crawl in bed and wish away the world. Maybe I need to crawl into my own head more?

I wonder why you wake up easily on the weekends but not during the week? Do you dread going to work?

No. It is just the thought of the alarm clock and Saturdays are full of no plans.

I am really liking the work I am doing now. I am the broker for a commercial real estate firm and getting my feet back into that.

Maybe you do need to crawl in bed and not crawl in your head. As a matter of fact crawl out of your head...take your girls and do nothing today. I took Cat to see Cats Wednesday night. It was worth the price of the tickets to watch her watch them.

I have also started taking a nutritional supplement called Go Yin from Genesis Pure. You can find them on the web and since this is anonymous I have nothing to gain from telling you. I think taking care of my health is helping. I have done a 14 day cleanse program for the past two months. Yesterday I had a gift certificate for a massage. I have a pain in my left hip and I had hurt my right shoulder last weekend doing yard work. The massage was fabulous. She offered me two free 30 minute sessions next week because she said my tension in my back was so bad. She explained it was purely selfish on her part that she had had to work really hard on my back this time and if I came back next month she didn't want to have to work as hard.

I double dipped because I went to our local downtown "open house" last night and one of the spa's was set up on the street to give massages. This time a man worked on my shoulder and with bigger hands it felt really good.

I don't know where you live but I think there are massage school all about that you can get a student massage. Treat yourself. I was given that advice on here about a year ago and couldn't because I simply could not afford it. Finally I did it.

Also Flylady is right once again. Having my house "re-designed" has improved my attitude and outlook. This morning I made my bed then sorted through all the stuff I had stashed in my bedroom and put it away.

Many hugs to you Bonni

BUMP.

Can't inspire myself to forge ahead right now; I need this thread. Any positive affirmations I can try on?

i haven't forgotten Bitsy's:

Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.

did I get that right?
