So I'm in the kitchen tonight before work and my cats are patroling the stove and a huge 2" bug comes crawling out. urrurghghgh

So i stopped by CVS (Chivas) bought roach traps, ant traps, pine sole, a mop, and clorox wipes.

I put the traps under the stove, dryer and fridge...  but, i noticed that the roach trap holes weren't big enough, is this an econo size bug or what?   then i mopped, wiped down the counters and sprayed fantastic everywhere and anywhere the little sucker might come out.

hehehehehee.....little sucker.

I actually thought they (the bugs) were gonna get pissed and come storm me out of the kitchen like some kinda movie.   I really have to stick to comedies, my imagination is too vivid.  I freaked myself out....alll the lights are on now. lol

And, Leo, my cat, is still continuing on his bug patrol.

Also, on my way in tonight, my new tenant, the spider, has been residing on my porch, he moves around alot but I'm freaked he's gonna put the web right where i walk up, so I have to walk up real slow and put my hands up.  Anyway, I'm unlocking the door and noticed he was making his web.  Ever watch a spider actually making a web? It's quite facinating.   Then being that the light was on....a freaking huge bug swarmed me.  So I guess that's his din din tonight......god it's just so gross!!!!

Did I mention that I FREAKING HATE BUGS!!!!!!

In regards to the crawlies, a method we use here is to take a jar and get something that the bugs like(usually anythink) and put it in the bottom of the jar, then smear the INSIDE (sides) of the jar with some grease (or some other slippery substance), place the jar where they can easily get in, then in the morning you can take your crawlies for a walk or eat them or post them to a friend or let them go inside so you can catch them again. And in regards to the hanging crawlie in the doorway, just keep politly moving the web and it will eventually build elsewhere. (a different angle).

Philter,
The jar thing sounds like a good idea, but the thought of finding him the next day in there is kinda gross. I might try it though. I hate to admit it but I am such a girl when it comes to bugs, especially ones the size of a small mouse....yuk.

As for my spidey friend, he seems comfortable in the one spot in the corner, I'll let him stay for awhile.

I GOT THE LITTLE _UCKER!!!
Found him walking around in my sink so I poured soap and turned on the hot water, drowned him and flushed him down the toilet. Still feel like bugs are crawling all over me, I had to talk myself (outloud_ into picking him up and a little worried his little friends are gonna come in my room now and attack me, but atleast i got him. He was atleast and inch & half long, that's just somethng from a movie, I'm so skeeeeeved!!!!!!!
