Good morning everyone,

Well, I posted earlier this week about some internal struggles I was having with boyfriend.

Now, on top of that, my PDA(hand held computer) broke. It is the life blood of my work, so I have been at a stand still for two days waiting for a new one to come in. I have a few major projects that need to be done, which can't be without it, so I am getting behind. Being the perfectionist that I am....I hate getting behind.

Yesterday, I went to leave for work and found that my car was dead (I had left my lihgts on.). Ok, fine. I'll get a jump start. No such luck. It didn't work.....dead as a door nail. Soooo, my neighbor gave me a ride to work AND picked me up at the end of the day....bless his soul. When boyfriend got home at 6:00 pm, he took me to get a new battery. The old one was such a mess, that it took him a while to put the new one in but finally got in done by about 9 pm last night. We drove around for awhile, got home, shut the car off, tried to start it again......dead as a door nail.

I didn't get to bed until about midnight. I'm tired, I'm cranky and now I have to find a mechanic who will take my car the Friday before Labor Day!

CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!

Love,
Lolli

Oooohh Lolli...I was you a few weeks ago!!!
I was having a lot of trouble with my car...there is nothing more guaranteed to make you cranky cranky cranky, especially when you are tired and hot and fed-up!!! I know its a pain, but when you get your car back all fixed its like having a new car again and you just fall in love with it all over again!!!

Chin-up lolli, try to stay positive...it will attract more positive energy.

lolli, calgon time is right!!!

same thing with me, my battery died at the drive in movie theaters!! luckily, i got a jump, and needed a new battery though the next day.

Sounds like it could be your starter or ignition switch not working....and arrrrrg, always seems to happen at the worst of times.

This will all get fixed soon enough, we just want it done NOW!!! so go take that calgon bath, breath deep, and know that things will get better!

love, camer

Rev, it's that here too, but they also make a salt soak for your tub that is amazingly soothing because of the soft water--the added bonus is that it removes rings from your hardwater tub.

Lolli, speaking of salt, this makes me think of the Morton salt saying "WHen it rains...it pours" with the little girl walking in the rain and the salt container pouring out behind her...doesn't she have a puppy in a rain hat or something with her too? I NEVER undertstood that ad campagne, but yea for possitive imagery I was thinking. Seriously, dog in rain hat, you have to smile at least a little bit...right?

And there is a bit of alanon wisdom too, and I guess AA as well..."Let Go and Let God (or HP of your choice)". Something it may help especially to reflect upon while you wait for those projects.

Finally, my personal opinion about small small computers: You ahould get a Blackberry, they're absolutely the best handhelds in the world!

Calgon bath products!!!! Weird but intriguing....I am in awe!!!!

I wish I lived in the US....you lot have so much more "stuff" to choose from!!! So much more choice of products...when I went to florida on holiday I went into a grocery supermarket and it was like being in willy wonka's chocolate factory...I wish I could go and do my shopping there once a week...the choice the choice...shoppers heaven!!

Wow lolli, you certainly had a bad day! all bad things happen in 3s. I counted 3 but didn't count the struggle with the BF because he helped you on the 2 of the 3s. The 2 being the battery was dead and then dead again. Sorry for your troubles. Hope you enjoyed that Calgon bath.

Hi everyone.....and thank you all for your support.

Rev, your post cracked me up. Too bad we can't exchange addresses....I'd send you some Calgon.

Things are beginning to look up. For starters, I home from work now and don't have to go back until Tuesday! B/F and I are going away for the weekend, so I am really looking forward to that.

Boyfriend has also redeemed himself as far as I'm concerned (for the time being at least). He has been so great with this whole car thing. He spent many hours trying to fix it last night. Then today he got out of work early and suprised me when he picked me up from work WITH MY CAR. He went to the mechanic (which is right behind my house), got my car and paid for the repairs.

It is that kind of thoughtful, caring behavior that helps me to over look some of the other things.

I will be going to pick up my PDA at Fed-ex tonight before I leave on my little trip, so by next week, everything should be back to normal.

Thank you all again and I hope you all have a great weekend.

I LOVE THIS SITE!

Love,
Lolli
