What techniques are used to covertly alters someones behavior? Are there established techniques to covertly alter another's behavior? Which behavioral therapy techniques use sleep conditioning? How prevalent is sleep conditioning? Where can I find specific answers (psychological journals, magazine articles, research reports, etc.) Where can I find information about 'subliminal audio' conditioning research? How effective is hypnosis in altering one's behaviour? Where can I find research results or case reports? Is hypnosis during REM, or hypnosis techniques used during the sleep trance, considered a valuable behavioral therapy technique? I need answers. All opinions considered. Only serious responses appreciated. Pnly knowledgable responses will be replied to. I am a private entity.

Neurolinguistic Programming is one technique people use to try to influence people... I don't know if this "counts" towards your question... but it might be an area to research if you've never heard of it.

good luck:)

Wow- too heavy for me. I think this question would get better response posted on the libs side ????

And that would be considered a serious & knowledgeable response : )

Good luck ((astuteobserver))... and oh, ((( ))) is an AAC hug....if you stick around here long enough on the support side you'll get plenty of them!!

Hugs are great folks. Save them for your mom.

This site is basically a giant support group for people that need to be heard and cared about... When you have no idea of what the past for us held, comments like "Save your hugs for your mom" are NOT going to get you far. If you really want the answers to those questions in a factual manner, you might want to try a website that truly deals with those issues. You were basically welcomed, only to shoot down the ones that have tried to be helpful..

Good luck finding your answers...

Scared (Mitch),

Right on!!! You have a way with words. The way I'm feeling right now I would have been kicked off the site for speaking my mind.

Apologies. I assumed people with answers frequent this website. I hoped they would respond. My comments are those of a concerned individual. I don't need a hug now. I need answers. When I am satisfied, it will be hugs all around.

I need support from people the have an understanding of my questions. Which website do your viewers, moderators, controllers know of that can answer any of my questions? Any suggestion is appreciated. Hugs and kudos to to those with valid pointers.

My answers are out there. I am sure your community has insight.

I am sure that you are likely to get the answers that you are looking for as long as you don't push everyone away first. That was the only point that I was trying to make. There are very knowlegable people around here. Go to the top of your screen where it says support threads, and liberation Brew, and click on liberation brew. That is where you should post this question for the likelihood of possibly better answers. Again, I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

astuteobserver~ I gave you the facts hon...

"think this question would get better response posted on the libs side" just forgot to mention that you found your way onto the *suppport* threads and didn't leave the directions on how to get to the libs side.

and the other fact is...regarding hugs on this side of AAC... "if you stick around here long enough on the support side you'll get plenty of them."

Now again, good luck on your search for answers... that is what we all are doing here...it just depends on what kind of answers you're looking for as to what side of AAC to post. This is an awesome website, with awesome people no matter whether you are here on the support side or there on the libs side.

LL ( and hey thanks for reminding me to call my mother - seriously!!)

Astute Observer,

I am making the assumption you are doing research for a paper. If you are looking for anecdotal evidence, this site is good for that. If you are looking for particulars you may want to try using a SEARCH engine for that. There are several out there.

We are not guinea pigs who would have the factual infomation you are looking for. For that you should conduct your research through the AMA, APA or some other entity.

Good Luck.

Oh, I will save my hugs. Thanks for the very insightful advice.

Ciao!
