Hi all,
I've been watching it for a couple of months and I'm down about 4 pounds. I went under (like a half pound LOL) 145 today for the first time in a LONG time. I'm having a hard time getting myself to exercise. I've started ignoring portion sizes and only taking what I want. Ive had to buffet several times in the past two months and I put salad on half my plate. that has helped.

Hi!
I lost another pound at weigh in on Saturday. I didn't make my goal of walking 1 mile this week, but I did get the yoga in. I drank at least 60 oz water a day. My goal next week is to go to the yoga class and try again on the drinking 80 oz of water/day and walking 1 mile in the next seven days.
Bonni, I can totally understand the not wanting to exercise. I don't know what it is, I have a mental block of some sort. I think I feel mentally exhausted and wiped out when I get home from work, and the last thing I feel like doing is pushing myself (although that is probably the best thing I could do after sitting at a desk all day!)
We can do this!!

I ate like a big swine today. A patty melt and steak fries with brown gravy. How's that for going all out? I'm going for it tomorrow and eating well AND exercising for the next two months. I have a girl trip to vegas at the beginning of Dec. and I want people to look at me and want to feed me because i look so thin. HAHAHAH!

t2--congrats on the weigh in.
exercise does take some discipline, but I'm glad I do that. I always feel better when I exercise. I get up 30 minutes early every morning so I can exercise before my shower and heading out to work. I sit at a desk all day too and it is difficult sometimes to make myself get up and move. With my health issues going on now, I don't really have a choice. I'm not ready to roll over and die so I have to get healthy and get to a good weight for myself.
Way to go Bonnie--keep at it and you will be just fine. I look forward to the day when I see 145 again.

Nope not at all. As a matter of fact, I am still going to cook a delicious but healthy meal. I am making a lemon, garlic and basil grilled chicken over pasta(rice pasta cause it is healthier) and then a light salad with a vinegarette dressing. I am glad I can at least do that. I talked to my sis who made me feel better. Lives in hawaii though and couldn't get in touch with her yesterday cause of the earth quake. Hope I feel ok by tomorrow. I have an annual on thursday though and I can get some antibiotics then.

YeeeeOUCH! Those suckers hurt like the devil. I couldn't wait that long for meds. My doc prescribes Bactrim for me so I carry it everywhere I go. Man, 1 tablet and in 1/2 hour pain is gone. Lots of water, of couse, helps.
Well, if you look online, there are very interesting home remedies that might work for you. More than just cranberry juice. One I recall is Alka Seltzer, believe it or not. Let us know.

There is actually a pill made by AZO that relieves the symptoms of UTI's. It takes a little while and turns your pee a weird color but it does help. I have an unusually high pain tolerance and when it gets bad enough, my body shuts down and then I just get groggy and want to go to sleep. Apparently this UTI right now is not Bactrim sensitive because I took one and it didnt do a darned thing. Fortunately my bf has been very understanding and trying to take care of me. Bringing me water and cranberry juice every twenty min. i don't really have a choice in terms of waiting till the doc and I have learned to endure it. It is midterms so hopefully this won't interfere with my studying although it has already cause I had to miss class today. Oh well. I am confident I can do this.

Hi all,
Well, I am up 0.6 pounds at weigh in today. But...I expected that. I have been bad this past week.
I haven't eaten really bad foods this past week, I've just been eating bigger portions of things than I should be, and therefore I didn't stay within my Weight Watchers points plan. The plan does work when I stick to it and don't go overboard.
My goal this week is to stay within my specified number of points, to get in at least one mile of walking this week, and drink 80 oz/water a day.
How's everyone else doing?? Anyone there? 🙂
