(((Autumn)))

So sorry to hear about this. I'm glad you're feeling better today. A few years ago, after a series of x-rays and MRIs, the doctors found 3 hernited discs in my neck. Both emotional stress and work or exercise that heavily engages my back muscles seems to trigger the pain. Of the two, however, emotional stress is a bigger trigger.

I'm no doctor, have never even played one on TV, but as Ma said, just pure emotional stress, without injured discs or pinched nerves, can have physical results of all kinds. And you're going through a rough patch right now with the xbf.

Please know that we all care and keep us posted. Be kind to yourself.

(((Mary))))

I'm sure that my stress does not help whatever is going on. I mentioned the stress level to the doctor and she thinks it is contributing, but not the cause.

I have family history of heart and brain aneurysm.

My heart has been racing at times. All day long the numbness has been not so bad, but now my leg is acting up.

I worked out after work, and i'm eating vegetables, and lean proteins. some fruits. I'm taking a multi vitamin and drinking lots of water.

I scheduled a body massage on Monday.

I know stress can do a lot of damage to a person, so i'm trying to stay calm. keep busy, and yes, rest.

A friend of mine is coming over tonight.

I went to work today, and there were flowers on my desk from some friends.

I'm very lucky to have so many people in my life that care so much about me.

I go to the neurologist on Friday.

I will keep you all posted.

I got the racing heart thingee, too. Used to scare me because there is a history of heart trouble in my family. Turned out my heart is FINE. It was caused by stress. As soon as I recovered from the stress, I was FINE.

Much as I apreciate your doctor's caution, (ALL doctors have to err on the side of caution now because of liability issues), I believe in my heart that all of your extreme symptoms -- however scary -- are being caused by extreme, emotional stress and grief.

Long day at work today, but now I am home and looking foward to going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully get some answers.

I had a strange day where I just felt really tired and confused and lightheaded, just like on Sunday.

I am feeling lonely tonight and hope that tomorrow goes well.

Thanks for listening.

I don't want to offend you or anyone, but I lit an incense stick for my husband and for you to the Medicine Buddha (feel free to look him up). My own thing...but offered as peaceful and good wishes.

Hello everyone,

I just got home.

Went to the neurologist this morning. Very nice doctor, liked him a lot.

The doctor thinks that it is definately neurological. He did all kinds of tests on me.

He thinks it's either something in my brain, or something in my neck.

They are going to put dye in my body when they do the MRI on the 29th.

He says he reviewed my cat scan that I had back in January when I fell, and he thinks there is something deeper in my brain that the cat scan didn't show.

I am staying as positive as possible.

Thank you all for being there for me, it means a lot.

I will, of course, keep you all posted.

Thanks for the update.

I'm glad the doctor's nice-- that helps so much.

Just want you to know I've had my own medical story-- including a family history of aneurysms and neurological stuff-- It's such a step by step process. I'm glad you're getting thorough care from the sounds of it.

I've decided that my husband's exposed hand with the broken thumb (casted) looks like an Incredible Hulk hand! I swear when he waves it around with it's greenish hue he might scream, "ARRGHHHHHHROARRRR!"

Hope you have some good things planned for the weekend...

Celtic and Fire,

I fell back in January on some ice when I was going to my girlfrineds. I was in the street and hit my head on the curb.

They did a cat scan and everything looked normal.

Yesterday, the doctor said that he reviewd my cat scan, and it was normal, but he thinks it's something deeper in the brain that is causing my problems now, which a cat scan wouldn't show.

The numbness is very profound in my arm today. I have to go into work later, but I'm going to the gym this morning. I'm still eating ridiculously healthy. I'm off tomorrow, my girlfriend says her and I are going to the cheesecake factory to treat myself to some calories. lol.

Fire, I hope your husband feels better.

Celtic, how are you doing? Haven't seen you much lately.

Hi Autumn and Celtic,

Damn. Glad that ice is over with, aren't you? That must of hoit-- as they say in NY.

So the doctor wants to check out your brain and your neck with the blue dye MRI. Sorry to hear it's really numb now. Did he say to call him if it got worse?

Hey Celtic-- where've you been? How's it going? You know it's stressful now, but it's ok. I mean if I freak out I won't enjoy stuff at all. :-))) That's my new philosophy.

Eat that cheesecake, Autumn!...and Celtic hope you're doing fine. Tonight's passover, so there's going to some nice hefty caloric intake!

Hi Fire,

Yeah, the head and neck. The doctor was really thourough with the exam. I have been feeling very lightheaded. not dizzy, like I would fall over, just lightheaded and confused. It's a strange feeling, like if your blood sugar was really low and you haven't eaten in a while. That's how I feel ALL the time.

I'm on the list to try to get me in for the MRI before the 29th.

I just want to feel better.

Passover tonight? some matza ball soup? I would personally drink as much kosher wine as possible and skip the matza balls. lol

Autumn,

I have a friend-- and I can hear her voice now-- as I have reported symptoms to her and she repeats over and over, "Why don't you call the doctor?" I mean the doctor knows you feel like this? If it's gotten worse, it really might be a good idea to give him a call. I really learned from my friend that that's a good idea.

I'm skipping the matzo ball soup, thank you very much. It's the kosher wine, followed by more kosher wine!

Fire,

Yes, the doctor knows all my symptoms. I'm not sure that they can do anything more for me, at this point. If it does get worse, I am going to call. I'm headed to the gym now.

Enjoy your wine tonight!

Hey Autumn,

Good morning!

I leave today at 7am and come back at 9:30pm! One of those mega days!

I plan to have some fun along the way-- either that or since I'm premenstrual, some people could pay!

How goes it?

Good Morning (((Autumn))) ((((TTF)))
;0)

You two seem to be enjoy yourselves ;0)

Autumn, You really should give the dr. a call. Leave a message if nothing else at least that way he has a current note on how you are doing. It is "the squeekest wheel" that gets the oil. The 29th seems a long time to wait with the feeling (or lack of ) getting more intense.

TTF, 7:00 am to 9:00 Pm??? you are a glotten for punishment. ;0) Good thing you enjoy your work!!

Not much going on with me. Reading lots and working on myself. Lots of introspection. Learning who I am and why I do some of the things I do.

Got my mom a "pound puppy" a couple of weeks ago and needed to "do" somethings for them and their adjustments. Mom is really happy for the company and "Tinker" really likes all the attention and holding and petting. Dad died a year ago the 17th of April and mom hardly left the house to even go outside. With Tinker she walks around the mobile 3-4 times a day and sits outside with her. Her circulation is imporving and so is her attitude. Mom is less afraid now because even though Tinker is little she dosen't know it. ;0)

I have accepted the 10yr relationship for what is was. And learning to be OK (?) with it. Not thinking about him and not really thinking of the future. Just in the moment.

Did begin a list of "what I want in a man/mate".

Don't know if you remember but I went out a couple of times with my nextdoor neighbor . (82 yr) thought he would be safe??? That was a joke, anyway after two dinners I decided I didn't want any more of that so I declined the next invitation. He hasen't spoken to me in weeks. Well I saw him Saturday and he asked me to dinner. I said thanks but I'm really really busy. This is the same guy that said, while we were have drinks before dinner, "You look like someone whose been around." OK, that was the end. LIttle Creep!!!! And my mom's nextdoor neighbor said kind of the same thing, "you are beautiful woman with a great body" OK so at 82 yr you guys arn't dead but give me a break!!! ;0)

So I am staying in the house in fear of being attacked by short 82 year old men!! ;0)

Have to get ready for work. You two have a GREAT day ;0)

Namaste, Autumn, TTF

Celtic ;0)
