If you hear a song that thrills you,

Sung by any child of song,

Praiseit.Do not let the singer wait deserved praises long.

Why should one who thrills your heart lack the joy you may impart?

I agree Mrdib 100%!!!!

I believe we should always praise each other in everything; especially if is genuine and sincere one. We are all hungry for LOVE. Most of us come from dysfuctional families where we did not receive so many compliments or paises.

So, lets make LOVE our daily language, be it here on AAC or in our daily life!

Thanks Dib for these gems of Wisdom!!!

~Love, Ras~

I can relate. It is like the Sun who shines brightly and touches us with a ray of their light.
Wonderful exposure in the true sense of the word! To be touched by a single ray of shining light, and so it reaches you, too!

Mrdibbs,

Thank you so much for reminding me to be the person that I want to be.

My b/f and I have been going through such a hard time over the past few weeks that I have been swallowed by negativity. I had lost sight of the that person that I want to be.

Even when he tries to be nice, I have this wall up and even though I believe my feelings are justified, I see him looking for some sort of acceptance and until this thread I have refused to give it to him. Reading this made me realize that, although we may not be able to get through this as a couple we can still be compassionate as human beings.

I took your post to heart and while he was working on cleaning his truck (which is his pride and joy and the the thing he loves to do most) I went outside and told him what a great job he was doing and how great his truck looked. The look on his face told me that I did the right thing.

Sometimes we must learn that we are who we are. We don't always see eye to eye and relationships don't always work out, but we can still be kind and loving.

Thank you for this.

Love,
Lolli
