And no one can talk to a horse of course.

That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister Ed.

WILBU-rr-r-r-r..that was the man's name wasn't it, but i can't remember his wife's name, do you?

no problem, OMW. I understand.

yep, that was his name ... good ole Wilbur (nice touch there of how they said it, too!). I can't remember his wife's name, either, though ๐Ÿ™

Did find that this show aired on CBS from 1961 to 1964 ... so I must have been watching RERUNS!

Did you know that MEN can be bimbos also? Now how funny is that. lol

Main Entry: bimยทbo
Pronunciation: 'bim-(")bO
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural bimbos
Etymology: perhaps from Italian bimbo baby
1 slang , usually disparaging : MAN, WOMAN -- used especially of an attractive but empty-headed person
2 slang : TRAMP 1c

Now how bout that one. lol

I got 6-10...I'll have to go back and look at my bimbo responses now, but i was just at a six, so I guess I may be ok yet...:)

2. To get a man you should pretend to be a little dumb. (this comes, I think, from the magazines as a teen that say to let him feel important and needed a little bit...I guess more acurately I DO pretend to be a little dumb, not I should...also, ala Suzanne Sommers, I think it can be comical...and there you go, she's supposed to be sort of a bmbo, isn't she? Gulp...)

5. It's okay to flirt with other guys as long as your boy friend doesn't find out. (I know, I know. Really, I think it's ok to flirt if it's nothing your boyfreind would be upset if he did find out.)

8. I enjoy the relationship more if the man is a little dangerous. (I know, completely rediculous, though it's changing alot since I had my daughter)

11. Never let a guy see you unless your hair and make-up are perfect. (It's true, NEVER.)

21. The guys I'm attracted to have trouble making commitments. (It's true, ALWAYS.)

You know what? That's only 5! I'm NOT a Bimbo! I'm NOT a Bimbo!!!

Ok guys, I have answered FALSE to all those questions except for # 12 about "Most women take sex too seriously." to which I answered TRUE and there is nothing wrong with that.

I believe we should take sex so seriously. Sexual relationship is very intimate part of our life.
We should preserve it to the right person and the right moment, even if we have to wait.

I do not see anything wrong with this question being answered as True.

Althogh I've read previous posts, it does not make sense to me!

What's wrong with taking sex too seriously. Should we become loose and sleep around to be considered as smart???

What is the opposite of BIMBO? Is it smart, intelligent, intellectual???

OK,

I scored a 3

Number 11 is just who I am.

Number 8 makes my knees buckle a little bit when I think of it.

I don't want to give those up.

And I fluctuate between yes and no on number 25.

I'll proudly display my below BQ Average.

Sew & Angel,

Girls?

Could number 12 (Most women take sex too seriousy) be speaking about...

Well, if you took out the word "sex" and substituted them with "achieving an orgasm" would it have the same meaning? Would it clarify the quesiton?

Is this what they mean by taking sex too seriously? Do bimbos care about keeping an eye on the bottom line?

If so, I'm gonna need an eraser...I'm a 4 instead of a three.

Y&R and Raz - Boy, oh, boy, #12 has really got people rollin' in the hay ... no punintended ... lol!! I wish I could go back and ask DR. Jerome to clarify this now ... lol!

But I truly do believe it is simply what sew and I shared ... that a TRUE answer means you think sex should not be taken seriously, and that you think the act should be taken lightly (i.e. you think it's ok to have sex loosely/freely, as if "it's only sex, why should I care who I do it with ... or, if a man wants it (or if you want it), just do it, it's not a big deal" ... same goes for fidelity - cheating on your husband/boyfriend is not a serious act because, afterall, it's only sex"). If you read everything else that the Dr. writes, he suggests that women should respect this part of themselves, and hold out to share their bodies and this special act with someone special that will respect them. And that men should respect women for respecting this part of themselves, and not be manipulating and pushing women just to get a little (which many of them do do!)

See http://www.betteryou.com/findlove.htm

for more info about the points the Dr. is trying to make.

mamac - Very funny abut Bimbo men. I've actually heard someone refer to a guy as a Bimbo, too! lol!

ef - as mamac says, we always knew you were NOT a bimbo! We love you girl!

OMW - I heard of the real McCoys, but don't think I ever saw the show.

All - I hope noone takes this test so serious that they feel bad about themselves if they come up low on the scoreboard. Remember, all of this stuff is here to help us grow and learn ... =)

Gotta run for now, have a great day all!

I scored a 6 and I answered true to number 12, I said that most women do take sex too seriously. I guess though it is implying that sex shouldnt be taken seriously if you are a bimbo, or whatever it implies.

anyways Im averagely a bimbo how nice.

I took that one to mean that most gals take who they have sex with too seriously, or take sexual responsablility too seriously...which to me means waiting to feel respected, to feel ready, to trust and such. Maybe once upon a time I've told my girlfriends that they took sex too seriously, but as a grown women with a lot of mistakes to live with I realize how seriously you must take sex as a reflection of your feelings about yourself.

Not YOU as in anyone in perticular, you as in one. Though I should probably just say I, everyone is different. SO, I 'must take sex seriously and as a reflectionof MY felings about MYself.
