The doc says she'll be ok. Maybe a few weeks of numbness or soreness coz there are some nerves involved too. The muscle should not cause any problems. Just don't know what the mass is.

Today mama almost lost it. She had to have blood drawn and the nurse stuck her 3 times and fished the 2nd time. Had she started that fishin the 3rd time mama would have come unglued. But she got thru it. Then went to Walmart and got a peek-a-choo for $5 on the sale shelf. She was a happy camper and mama smiled.

It is a humbling experience to watch a sick child...it is so intense. I went through it with my nephew (who is like my own child) when his mom was having another baby. My parents went through it with me. I was ready to give my own heart to my nephew if he could have taken it. Hang in there, and you *will* lose it sometimes, after 12 hrs of surgery and all night in the ICU, I went home and threw up. You are so caring, she is lucky to have you, and I suspect you do a lot of things to make her a happy camper after those yukky blood tests.

I have had alot of disappointment in my life. I used to be like you. The "golden girl" in everything I did where work was concerned. Then I got the fibro and it presented in my bilateral arms and hands. The left is almost useless at htis point, but does still work very little.

I think I had to learn contentment when I had to sell our home or lose it. We moved into the back of an old building I owned that had an apartment onthe back. We build into the store room to add 2 more bedrooms for our kids. My hands got so bad to the point of I couldn't even brush my hair or fasten my bra. The pain was so intense.

So, I lost my home I always dreamed of, my self-reliance, my evil x was still trying to cause problems.

It's kinda like "let go and let God". I don't know where you stand religiously, but for me I just let go and said to God "I cannot do it, take over". I had to sit back and take a long hard look at myself and rethink who I was, where I wanted to go, and where was feasible or not. It's kinda like starting over.

Do for you. Start a hobbie, a book study, remodel the home,.... throw yourself into something you like to do and go w/ it. Try new things. Look around... there is always someone that has it worse than you do. (Not minimizing your pain here).

Oh for sure, there are plenty who have it worse. Yes, that is a good mantra. I should use it more often. I should do my yoga too. Once my promotion stuff is done, I will get back to the spiritual stuff, yoga, and doing stuff for me. I also plan to do something about this little PTSD issue. I do need to start over, like you did.

You know I have arthritis? I am surprised your fibro affects your hands. Do you see a rheumatologist? You are quite an amazing person. Thanks for sharing your story and insights...you really know how to make a person feel better, my dear.

Yes, I see a rheumatologist, pulmonary dude, and the family doc who designates well. Have to pass thru their offices each month or evry other month when I choose to bahave.

I guess it presented in my hands because I used them so very much... typing, office jobs, quilting, cross stitch, cooking, etc.

I am gonna pass out in my chair again if I don't get to bed. See ya'll tomorrow night.

PS Nesh.... 2 choices. You either let it overwhelm you; or you overcome whatever your circumstances are and use your past traumas to help other folks.
