I was looking for some help on anger control. My wife lefted me beacuse of it and i need to work on it. I have looked on the net tonight and got a lot of info on anger. My probelm is that it could just happen and i take it our on my family. Which i realize now it wrong. I have had problems off and on since i was a kid. I was never abused or anything. I think it comes from my dad being permailty in a hospitapl and not having him around to do things and getting pushed by my mom to go to the hospiatl every day to see him. Then in jr high when my anger started i was getting beat up everyday at school. Thats when my anger started towards my family then. Then it went away when things got better. But then it shows back up when things are going bad like my healht problems acting up.. (heart problem and broken pacemaker a few times and that meaning sugery) It just seems to come and go with how i feel but not over little stuff.. My wife lefted last week and i have been telling myself to keep calm and it has worked but also i am here alone now... Just looking for some help... Thanks

This may sound crazy, but take a look at the root of your anger. Embrace it - sit alone and write your thoughts down... you might find anger comes from trying too hard for others and not doing enough for yourself. What do you feel had been lacking from your family during Jr. High? What had you needed from them that you didn't get?

Just think about all that and write it down. Writing is important to processing because it gets it out of your head once and for all, and keeps you from going over and over about it.
