My wife is co-dependent and has been getting counseling for 4-6 months. And her depression score has gone up in recent months. We start marriage counseling very soon. Due to her listless appearance when she is around me, I am suspicious that there may be another man in her life. However, I know that there is no real way for that to be true.

I am scared to death of what is going on. We have fun together...but she never lets herself relax and enjoy the moment. WHat am I missing...can anyone help me or help explain all this to me???

I am still very much in love and cannot imagine life without her.

i don't think your paranoid.
you care about your relationship, there's nothing wrong with that.
perhaps your partner just needs some time to grow. if she is having some counselling then changes will occur. this can leave you wondering where you fit in now - esp as you said she is co-dependent.
i hope you work everthing out
take care 🙂

Why don't you go to counseling with her, try to help her and let her know you care.

I start going to counseling with her, marriage counseling, tomorrow. Does anyone know they affects of medication on depression? She has been advised that this may be in the future for her.

I want the care free woman I fell in love with back. The one who laughed when I was silly....not the one who looks at me funny like what the hell are you doing! She is my world...I want her back on her axis so to speak!
