My sister and best friend was sexually abused by several male family members from early childhood to her preteens. She's worked through a lot, but still feels "their touch" when a loved one touches her. She still hears "their voice" when I share encouraging words. She's not open to seeking professional help. She's frequently depressed and nothing I seem to say helps. Can anyone give me some advice on how to help my Big Sister?

If she would be willing to read there are some wonderful books out there their is The Wounded Heart and Beauty for Ashes: Biblical Help for the Sexually Abused. They are both Christian books oh and theres another Called No stones. They are all wonderful. I went through 10 years of sexual abuse as a child and After reading those I have never been better.
