Thank you so much for your support. I am just on cloud 9 right now. I did however call the jail and found out that he has to remain in custody until his next court date which is set for Jan 10th. So, it does suck that he won't be able to spend xmas w/ his daughter again for the 2nd yr in a row, but it is his fault.
Besides that, i know that everything is happening for a reason! I know i will be okay.
CONGRATS on your new job, that is wonderful. Tis the season 🙂 I am very happy for you. Pls keep updates. Thinking of you. Giggles

Giggles,

This is not a bad thing...as you already noted.

He has had plenty of time to detox, for one, and to think about his actions, for two.

Perhaps it will scare him into staying straight, so if they do release him, he will find the right path.

No matter what happens, you and your daughter will do well and in the end, it doesn't matter what his outcome is - because you have become a much stronger person yourself - which is a blessing in itself.

I don't think anyone will use you for a doormat from here on out!
