Last night, I have received a phone call to call my father for liver transplant. There is a liver for him. It is about 8:30pm. My family has come to the hospital with him. At about 5:00 am this morning, he is called for the surgery. He has been pulled out of the surgical room at about 5:00 pm. However, he has a vein that connects the liver and the intestine is blocked. The doctor said this is common for this kind of patients but my father's is totally blocked and cannot do the surgery. Thus, my father do not have the new liver and is being cut open during the surgery. The doctor said he has lost much blood and he has not left the danger period. It is dangerous for a liver cirrhosis patient to lose so much blood but do not have a new liver for him to recover. He still sleeps in I.C.U. (Intensive Care Unit) and the doctor estimated the he will awake in two to three days. This is compared to those with normal liver that they will awake in 2-3 hrs. My family and I can do nothing for him except that I have prayed for him so many times. I have also called my church friends
to pray for him. I am really worried but I know God will prepare the best for both me and him. i have been prepared for the worst. Just want to tell. Don't worry and I think I can still handle the situation.

gosh I hate these situations where we have no controll, and we must surrender to God, and have hope. It is like the ultimate no. No there is nothing that you can do, but find serenity, in knowing that he is in the best of care, and that all are doing the best that they can do. I pray for peace for you and your father, and family.

I am so sorry, pray for his quick release from pain, and know in your heart that there will be no more suffering. I am sorry for your loss, there are no words...
