Psych books are great, but I remember I read all the versions of the DSM for a research project once and started psycho-somatically self-diagnosing myself. Whew!

I keep avoiding it but I'm going back to grad school next summer. I also keep trying to convince myself that I won't do psychology but I will, it really comes easily to me. I'm developing that therapist "uh huh" with my current boss. snark.

Cici that's funny!!

Well I live by the motto:

"If you love what you do,you will never have to work another day in your life."

I am not there yet but do belive when I am doing what I love I will feel that way...

and yeah the self-diagnosising is rrrhhhr well it doesnt help. I so understand that one. Sometimes I forget what the term "Keep it simple" means. 😉

Hi all,
Haven't been on in awhile but I always look in to see what new. I am the Assistant Homeless Programs Coordinator for a major City (Municipal Gov't). I enjoy my job but can be depressing at times but we do what we can do.

Well guys,
9-5 has in some way alluded me. I'm a cop. Been one now for about 9 years. The past 3 I've spent as a cop in the Air Force. Hate it... everyday. I don't hate being a cop, Loved it when I was a real one on the outside but I hate the games that I've had to play in the military. So, in about 6 short months I'll be done with my tour and back to the real side of law enforcement where I make a difference and don't always hate going into work. The career has been a decent ride for me though. I started out working in the prison system (yuk) and moved on to working the road. That is where I did some good. Then I came in the AF to get money to finish my schooling. Wouldn't have been all too bad except for the 221 days I spent in Kyrgyzstan.

Awesome topic! I love my career. I am a graphic and web designer. It's my first full-time job and I seriously can't imagine doing anything else. I am so lucky!

Oh I forgot. I also work part-time at a library. The same one I used to work for before I got my full-time job. I just couldn't leave for good.
