When you go into any sort of Drug Rehab Program, it is important to go in with a positive attitude and expecting the program to work. If you start this with a negative, not going to work attitude then you are going to fail.

See now I know that rehab works even with a bad attitude.  Yes it is better to go into any new thing with an upbeat positive attitude, but rehab will work if you stick with it.  Think about all the people that are sent to rehab, the ones that don't want to go but are forced to go ~ I think a lot of those cases are successful too.

Actually, a positive attitude is helpful in just about all aspects of life and especially for any physical or emotional situation that requires healing.  Our minds are very powerful and that positiveness goes a long way for us.

If you are addicted to one of the so-called "hard drugs," such as heroin or cocaine, a stay in a residential drug rehab facility is virtually a necessity. Only a residential drug rehab program will provide you with the constant medical surveillance and care to appropriately and safely withdraw physically from your drug of choice.

Attitude defines you personality. Relating rehab with attitude is not totally wrong. Positive attitude people can recover quick because of their willingness to quit.

you are right! hard drug or long term addiction is never easy to quit. Rehab centers are the only option in that situation.

Your attitude is what will get you through anything in life.  Even if you know that you have but a short time to live.  Surround yourself with good people who respect you and take responsibility for their part in any of the consequences of your troubles.

Stay away from cowards who refuse to accept responsibility for themselves or others and live in continual denial.  They will never be successful with much of anything in their personal emotional growth.

They can go to any Rehab, be in any relationship, have great jobs, but in the end they cannot heal.  If they cannot be totally honest with themselves or another human it's a lost cause.

Particularly those who begin their sentence with "you know that I am always honest", even though they have repeatedly lied to you time & againYell

Loreal Pearl,

If you have a real addiction problem & you really want to get better, you will recover from the chaos of your life during the use of your substance or any other type of real addiction.  You never however fully recovered, & it is imperitive that you live your life keeping in mind that you still have a propensity towards addictive behaviour due to your genes.  If your life becomes difficult, you must be wholly aware of how you deal with difficult circumstances because the first thing you might do is go back to an addiction to try & cope.  The attitude maintenance in your daily life is a wonderful tool, but be prepared for a snag in the road because not everyday is full of roses that you can see and smell.  I think you must always have a way to cope which is entirely outside your past ways.  How you overcome new obstacles & challenges in your life will determine if you have truly recovered.  Keeping always in your mind that it's not worth it to fall back on addictive behaviour to get through your life.

Positive attitude works everywhere right from facing an interview to medical couseling, but only keeping positive attitude won't help to succeed a rehab pragramme, one needs a strong determination to overcome addiction problem & to lead a sobriety life ahead.

Positive Attitude rules your entire life.  Take on each & every day with a Positive Attitude and from an Attitude of Gratitude & you can get through anything that comes your way.  Because good & bad things will happen & some days will not be easy.  I like to try and turn a negative occurrence into a positive thought.  If you lose something or if a relationship dies, carry on & be positive and grateful for what you had.  You never know what good or bad may come your way.

Some individuals, especially those in the early days of recovery, look
at what happens and automatically see negativity. While it is true that
much of the first few days, weeks and months of recovery can seem
somewhat difficult,Never leave hopes and postive approch towards that thing.
