This is in California FYI

Good morning? How are you doing? I have a question that I hope you can help me with.

Question: My daughter sees the same LMFT as her mother for individual therapy. We have a court date and the Child Custody Recommending Counselor (Mediator) is going to interview my daughter's therapist.

My concern is that of a conflict of interest since the LMFT treats mother as well as an ethical one. We are all human beings and I'm afraid that the human side versus the professional LMFT will answer the questions which will hurt me since I'm mother's ex-husband and father of her daughter and I'm sure the LMFT has heard lots of nasty things true or false that might negatively influence her responses.

I'm having trouble finding a code of ethics on the internet. Can you direct me in the right direction or give me your input, please?
