Living with an Addict

Hello

I have lived with an addict for years and it never gets any easier depsite what many would think. I moved very far away to try and get away from the problem and I still deal with the effects every single day. BUT, that being said, I am getting better and I'm learning to be ME and not "the person with an alcoholic mother".

A friend of mine started a blog and has asked people to send it around. She gets nothing out of it but does it to help support other people and help them to realize they are not facing these difficulties by themselves.

I encourage you to look at it, it helps me everytime I read it because I know no matter what I'm one of many, and if this is talking to you.. never give up hope!!

Have a wonderful blessed day

It is true that it may not be that much easier to handle an alcoholic, but variable options are available to get rid of this deadly habit, also meetings are held more often so make every possible efforts to bring a person back to soberiety.

It is very nice addiction for home because Sober living homes provide a safe, supportive place to live while you’re recovering from drug addiction.they are a good option if you don’t have a stable home or a drug-free living environment to go to.
