I could really say that after an stressing day drinking alcohol is my way to relax. Recently, I've noticed that after drinking alcohol I easily get depress. Help me what should I do? I dont like things to get worse so I'm thinking to stop. Confused

Dear Rocketeer,

It seems interesting that you have told that you feel relaxed and literally relieved of the fatigue or stress of workdays after indulging into drinking alcohol. However, you started feeling it was making you feel disappointed. In fact, the feeling that you had at the beginning is just a fictitious idea about alcoholism. But the feeling you had after some time is perhaps the real effects of alcohol. I think you can choose to do something better than drinking alcohol just to get some relief. Pass your leisure time watching movies or reading books or vene sleeping.

Talk to your doctor Doctors treating withdrawal from alcohol often prescribe benzodiazepines to help with symptoms.you are finally ridding yourself of an enemy. Adjust your attitude so that quitting is made easier. If you are very heavy drinker you must first slow down to avoid withdrawal symptoms. It is perfectly fine to offer people tea, lemonade, coke, or the like. You will have a learning curve.
