Some spies gather medical intelligence. Presidents, prime ministers and other leaders do not always like to talk about their health. Some disappear from public life for a while and then reappear, with or without an explanation. Spy agencies search for information about physical and mental health. The idea that a leader might even lose his mind and launch a war or a nuclear attack is not an imaginary threat. The Central Intelligence Agency has a Medical and Psychological Assessment Cell. It employs or consults with doctors, sociologists, political scientists and cultural anthropologists to examine the conditions of top officials.Jonathan Clemente is a doctor doing research for a book on medical intelligence. He says the CIA team will look for psychiatric signs, then "describe for the policy makers how someone with that particular set of findings may react to certain situations."Such efforts go back to the Office of Strategic Services, which came before the CIA. University of Rhode Island - "Head Games" - 48 Hour Film Project 2011 - Yes, that's right. This year, the URI Film Collaborative participated in the Providence 48Hour Film Project, 2011. This marks the 10th anniversary of the 48HFP, so it was a very exciting year. NOW----- this was our FIRST year entering as the URI Film Collaborative. We had very little experience when it came to this process, and basically went into it blind. However, we emerged victorious in our own way because we were able to produce a film and submit it on time. We had a VERY rocky and stressful start, but I am so proud of everyone who was involved. Don't read too far into our story. There are a LOT of loose ends that we didn't tie up, but that was due to the rocky start with the writing. We got "Horror" as a genre; the ONE genre we did NOT want. We took it on a more psychological path, but regardless, I hope you enjoy our film! It was fun to make, and I hope we come back again next year. :)
