I have over fifteen years of experience treating adults, children and adolescents with serious and persistent mental illness as well as specialized experience treating various psychological issues.

I utilize a non-judgmental and empowering approach that focuses on helping individuals access their internal strengths to cope with life’s difficulties. I offer unconditional support for improved well-being while actively challenging distortions or behaviors that may hinder progress.

Therapy with me may range from short-term problem solving techniques to a long-term alliance spanning several years. I emphasize the use of client input and individualized treatment strategies pulling from Solution-focused systems and psychoanalytic orientations.

My approach with therapy is empathic and straightforward. This allows individuals to talk about issues that they might find shameful or embarrassing. I believe that therapy can be an essential part of positive change that people want to make in their lives.
