Daniel Kaplan, Ph.D.

Dr. Kaplan is a generalist, capable of treating a wide range of difficulties. His collaborative approach begins with a period of assessment, during which areas for change and personal development are identified. Next, Dr. Kaplan works to help his patients to deepen their understanding of themselves, to relieve distressing symptoms, and to create more satisfying lives for themselves. Dr. Kaplan has earned degrees from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his post-doctoral work at Northwestern University. He has worked with hundreds of patients including college students, artists, legal professionals, business professionals, writers, and health care professionals. Dr. Kaplan is a preferred provider for PHCS, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, and Northwestern University student insurance.
