MISSION:
Just as an adult may need a professional to talk with about their problems, so may a child. However, a child communicates differently than an adult. A child is most comfortable with the use of play as their medium of communication. Children do not communicate in the same manner as an adult and they need a professional who can understand their language of communication.
As a sandtray and play therapist, I use techniques with children that assist them in working through traumas they may have experienced or witnessed as children. I assist children in their healing process and teach them to effectively communicate and deal with their feelings.
I also work closely with the parents to assist them in their child
